Very cool. Vivaldi actually also played the Mandolin and he wrote music for it. The 4 Seasons Concertos actually work well on Mandolin. I even have the Barenreiter edition in a Piano reduction score.

I think Thomastik Infeld Precision Mandolin Strings would help with recording as they eliminate finger squeaking along with a Pickup. I use a strap to keep the Mandolin in playing position even with Bowl Back Mandolins. Using a Strap is a very old idea but a useful one too.
