Sydney Opera House kicked off 2016 by welcoming influential producer and DJ Four Tet for a transcendent and cinematic journey into sound for his Opera House debut on the grand Concert Hall stage.
Four Tet's unforgettable debut also featured an Australian-exclusive specially-crafted live 3D light experience powered by Intel's 6 gen core, designed by UK multi-media collective Squidsoup.

So could someone tell me what is going on when a finished electronic track is being played live like this Queuing percussion and melodic channels in and out?

its a little sad. he was so innovative once and his live sets were very experimental, moving back and forth between dance music and free jazz. just remembering the things he did with steve reid. of course also his kind of housy music is still good, but it doesnt stand out. its like good supermarket music.

hmm, i dont know where you live, but four tet absolutley arrived in the mainstream here( it was not a joke: you really can listen to his music in supermarkets(and im sure thats not only in berlin:) as i said i think he is doing boring stuff now. he was very good in his own domain, but i dont know why he wanted to become a big techno hero as well. if you wanna listen to a more exciting organic house style, go and listen to also british producer dauwd...
