Honesty is great! I have a same problem with the back seats, its stupid lol I have a XE R-sport and its doesn't have those first three things you mentioned. I believe thats a trim level thing. Awesome videos dude, im slowly starting to do upgrades piece by piece. Your supercharger sounds grrrreat! Cant wait for my mina gallery order

I recently got my hands on a very rare used Jag XF 2015 which has everything from 2016 model including digital dash, heads up display, bigger touchscreen, lane keep, blind spot, both front and rear heated seats, heated steering, adaptive cruise control and even a freaking deployable towbar. I think it must have been a pilot car as no one would select all the feature pack.

That seat release has been a complete pain in the rear since the X250 XF. The trick is to pull them and then release really slowly then don't bump the seat back as you go in to flip it forward.

At first I loved the car but now I barely drive it and out of no where I got a check engine light and it’s something about the banks 🤷🏻‍♂️ and I dislike how there’s not much aftermarket support for these cars lol great video 💯🔥🔥

The banks would probably be spark plugs, you're more than likely misfiring

am in love with my XF 2017 20d. I did put some sound deadening over the metal under the rear window shelf. My back seats operate well, no problems at all. Its economy is also excellent.

For the trunk thing you typically say for instance slide your skis in till they hit the back of the seat then pull the button and push the skis or whatever you are sliding in to accomplish this east

Not supposed to slam door - it's soft close. XF Prestige has lumbar support. Who really folds seats down anyway?

I love my 2020 XF S, the final year Jag offered the supercharged engine and glad I grabbed it. Your model is certainly a lower trim. My fit and trim is top shelf, I have a proper steering wheel, my seats hug me and the trunk is huge. My problems are the smallish cup holder and agree that seat release is funky and the release cables fall off when hit by cases going in. This is a head-turning car and certainly a rarity these days.

I have a similar 2017 Premium. I agree with the front seat lack of lumbar support, but it is the lower level trim. For the back seat release 1) Disconnect the middle shoulder belt first and 2) drop the center seat. The releases work much better with those two steps.

It’s a beautiful car there’s no doubt about it but reliable, it’s not there. A person would think since the car has changed several ownership, the new manufacturer would want a better car. More reliable, competitive with other companies, like Lexis,BMW, Mercedes. Not just a car that looks good.

are the 2015 pre models different? Im shopping for cars and i found a few 2013-15 low mileagish for under 20k. Just curious about the reliability vs getting a Cadillac

The older model is different. It doesn't have aluminium chassis, and the engines and infotainment are older models.

Yeah most of your issues must be from trim level or year. I have the better looking 2018 xf s sportbrake & all things you mentioned are not issues in my car.

I drive 2018 XF 25T 2.0. I like it so much. No dislikes on my part. Everything that I need for a car is in my Jaguar.

I've got a 2016 XF R-Sport and all of the interior items are addressed in that spec. Best car I've ever owned. Trunk seat release is a legit irk tho lol
