The range for an ammram to go pitbull is about 10 miles. Of course if they'll be simulated realistically, you'll be able to lose lock after the missile was fired and once it gets within pitbull range it will automatically regain guidance. And clouds do not affect radar.

Time to go play Air RB while its still somewhat functional. Mark my words, the Yak141 isn't getting these things in the update even though it was historically wired to carry them.

Its a Soviet plane so why wouldn't it get them with a br decrease?

@HIFLY01 They have already taken some inaccurate artistic liberties with the weapon systems of that plane for 'balance'. It was never supposed to be able to carry r60ms, the pylons werent wired correclty. Yet they slapped r60 on there instead of R73 as its already incredibly manuverable at low speeds. But tbh that can be all changed with BR adjustments. It probably wont get it as theyll only put it onto the Mig29SMT and/or another version of the Su27 way at the end of an arduous tech tree branch, as in its current place the Yak141 would be the quickest way to grind to R-77/73 if it gets them without having to grind nealry as long, that wouldn't make as much money for Gaijin.

So gaijin uploaded a new devblog with a image of f15 shooting an AIM 120 First thing i noticed is the different skin, but this is not enough to confirm a new f15 Second thing i noticed is a button like thin on the nose. In irl f15a variants didnt had these buttons, but f15c/d had it. In game all the f15 (japan, usa, israel) dont have this button thingy so possible new variant of f15 leak?

@@Astral-wv1eg it most likely will get better engines, and amrams, so it will be 12.7 not not foldered prob, just like how gaijin aded f16c and mig 29 smt

With the available ARB game modes (or lack thereof to be honest), it’s gonna be the latter

Well, for starters - anything with this type of ARH missile is definitely going to need to go up in BR to be kept the hell away from the 10.0-11.0 stuff - or they need to lower some BR's on other planes to keep them away. Bad enough things like the 105 are as high as they are - AMRAAM's would just be a whole new level of pain. Which hopefully - chaff actually works on the damn things. Realistic/Sim are whatever cause they are supposed to be - well, realistic, but in Arcade at least countermeasures should actually have some effect, at the very least be a bit more effective than they are now in some cases. Granted I'm not sure what the deal is where I see these players who seem to have some sort of CM release that only activates when a missile leaves the rail shooting off one single pair instantly fooling an 9L while flying in a straight line but when I dump half the flares I can carry in to a 10G+ turn I still get hit by a damn 9E or even a B sometimes.

Air RB will become historically accurate, the air space will be abandoned. Looks like it's back to 9.3 for me.

I’m still at 5.0 BR so this doesn’t worry me, I like playing WW2 planes more than I’m interested in playing top tier air and being killed from spawn basically is beyond toxic

Yeah.. If massive BR changes and playercount changes aren't made this will officially be the worst update in all of Warthunder.If I have to fight against F-16s with Aim120s, SU27s with R77s, and the MICA with my F4 Phantom, it'll probably be the end for me and warthunder.

So no changes to the core gameplay which is still trying to shoehorn top tier jets into a WW2 game yet they have no problem introducing a missile that'll break top tier like never before. Good job gaiturd

Fixing cheating problem would be much better i dont want more and more modern stuff older wehicles are much mroe fun. This game is no longer fun or what it used to be because gajin adds stuff instead of fixing the game.
