What's the difference between the Fox 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, and 49? Which Fox suspension fork is right for you? That is the question we aim to answer in today's 2021 Fox suspension fork comparison. A lot has changed since our original video, including the introduction of a brand new MTB fork in the Fox 38. Today, we are here to help you understand what's new, what’s different, and the best option for your bike and riding style. In this video, Jeff covers the most popular suspension forks in Fox’s 2021 arsenal. Starting with the ultra-light Fox 32 and Step-Cast versions which are aimed at the 100mm XC or cross country riders. Next in line is the Fox 34 in both regular and Step-Cast version forks that are most suited for XC as well as the trail segment. One of the longest-running forks is the famed Fox 36 that has been a staple on most trail/enduro bikes for years. The new kid on the block for big enduro duties is the 38 which is purpose-built for super enduro and even light-duty downhill applications. Last but not least, there is the big boy for downhill racing, the triple clamp Fox 40 fork. Get comfortable with a cold one and enjoy!

Not really, their shocks may have different stanchion sizes but it’s not really relevant as the rear shock doesn’t have to endure lateral forces. Instead they are differentiated by how they are tuned (more supportive vs more plush), adjustments (HSC and LSC), and how much they weigh

I must say they are both 2015 bikes. Has something changed in the meantime.
