also, on the fox website, there's a complete step by step guide with pictures. (2011-2020 VAN P-S Rebuild). The VAN R / RC is identical to the Bomber CR.

great rebuild, but did that method of bleeding remove all the air? typically i see people using a syringe at the bleed port, cycling the shock, opening and closing adjusters to remove every last bubble of air.

Hi, this is the like original bleed prosess from fox too, and I think push the bleed syringe by pressing your thumb with gloves not will easy to remove air from system. Thanks for connecting us ☺️

Thanks for posting this. The bearing assembly (part number 812-06-086) on my shock has a different internal seal to the one you're working on, it's a single low friction seal, unlike the o ring and split washer on yours. Do you know if they're interchangeable (both in the service kit) and if one is better than the other? For anyone like me who doesn't have the bullet tool and is too tight to buy one, I successfully made one out of an old ballpoint pen. 😁

Hi, I think you need a correct seal kit for your shocks , check your shocks model year and get accordingly seals kit, Making a bullet tool through ball pen cover, Nice idea 💡

i too am confused. in the same boat as you. Buddy from Butter suspensions says the hard oring and split ring is for the float x2 air shock, which doesn't make sense to me. and the service manual on fox has a picture of the harder o-ring being installed

@@TheBarrettrussell I spoke to another suspension guy who also wasn't sure. He suggested I try the split washer and o ring as it would cause less friction and it wouldn't hurt to try it.

Will the Fox Shox Suspension Bath Oil, R3 5wt 025-06-007 work fine in the shock or will i need fox 10wt red. Are there any alternatives as well?

Hi Please use same as recommended oil in the shocks and fork to avoid damaged oil seals.

Hi That need I think rebuild and make sure the reservoir has a pressure as recommended

i see in the video the shaft is scratched, is it not leaking?

We have repaired that with coating of Araldite adhesive, and that's working fine.

I rebuilt the suspension and it works perfectly only problem is that it's leaking through the seals on the bearing assembly where the shaft is what could cause this problem?

My shock doesn’t rebound without coil is that a problem?

Yes, Rebound function can work without coil Have you service your shocks recently? If yes than I think shocks need bleed again.

@@nasa-biketech it wasn’t my air pressure could there be another reason it won’t rebound at this point I pretty much have to rebuild it right?
