For all those who say "what about the blacks who fought and died in the war" Allow me to enlighten you. Blacks DID NOT fight in the war out of love for the country. They fought because they were promised that, if they did, they would be set free from slavery. The north realized it needed all the men it could get to help defeat the south, so they enlisted slaves, with the promise of freedom. And even when they were fighting they were treated less than equal. Those black men weren't fighting for this country. They were fighting for themselves.
