Glad to see that in some areas of Europe this tradition still exists. Sad it has been almost wiped out from the area it began. In America we use dogs to hunt deer,raccoons,foxes and squirrels to name a few. I know in my area it is thriving, but I don't know for how long.

Ok ppl. Where the people are hunting the foxes then the foxes probably are pests where they are. I know it's not nice to shoot an animal that can't defend itself from a hunter, but, 1: they are either for food for surviving in the wild or 2, they are a pest in the area that they are being shot at.

A lot of people are hating, which i understand but you have to realize that this is their culture and way of ridding their land of their vermin. In my state the vermin are mainly Possums, Rats, Hare, Raccoons, Etc but in their land it may be Foxes. Our cultures do differ but this is how they do things in their country, maybe killing cow or pig in our country is okay but in other countries some cultures despise it, but thats just how me live. We will never have the same culture because unfortunately everyone has different beliefs so stop hating.

This type of fox hunting was done the correct way,no horses, a reasonable amount of hounds,though I don't agree with how you had them all in a very tight space in the van,my only hope is that you had a good enough reason to have killed them in the first place but apart from that you couldn't really have done it anymore humane, the dogs didn't actually kill the foxes, they were shot and killed instantly I presume?this is how fox hunting should be taken out, not a performance to show of how much money or power you have, just getting rid of a problem.

Why terrorize ,chase and murder such a wonderful little animal? I don't think I could ever understand this kind of hunting. Are they going to eat the fox or just treat it as garbage? Just sad.

They aren't actually 'hunting' as such, they are 'beating' the foxes out of cover in the direction where the firing squads are waiting....hence all the shouting and horn blowing....in truth...the fox(s) were alerted the minute the guy blew his horn when they first turned up....the dogs are just benefiting from being exercised as they 'beat' the covers....I only wish they would put all that energy into culling birds of prey which are decimating wild songbird populations and which all the 'fluffy bunny' brigade have now pushed the Government to make a criminal offence to pop them off, or if it comes to that, grey squirrels which not only reduce the wild food availability for 'reds', but, also carry the lethal Parvo Virus that is certain death to red Squirrels, hence their catastrophic decline here in the UK.
