If you have a pickup Truck and want to take your bike to and from the trailhead Fox Racing has you covered. This Tailgate pad is affordable & super easy to install. Installation was quick and straightforward as it uses a traditional feed-through buckle design and three straps. The padded material is coated and it is water-resistant and will stand up well to wet climates or mud. The bike hold is very secure and the straps are user-friendly and adjustable up or down on a webbing loop for optimal positioning across different frame shapes and sizes. The tailgate handle opening is not the best fit my RAM but other Trucks might do better. The large size I bought will fit 6 bikes. Thanks for watching.

Not a bad choice for a tailgate pad. I got a small for a toyota tacoma, and its a perfect fit.

Ok.. finally purchased one.. After installing mine then watching your video again I realized you have it placed way too low over the back of the tailgate.. The flat top section should fit on top of the tailgate.. Another thing, I also have a retractable tonneau cover and found the edge of the bike cover must be pulled away from the tailgate and bed edges for it to fit properly.. Making leaving it on after use not practical if I want to pull my tonneau cover closed..

I have the tailgate pad pulled down lower to stop any contact with my bike tires. I am running 29ers on my bike and they were touching the paint at first. The fit of the pad is not perfect but works well the way that I adjusted it. As I said before I did not close my cover over the pad. I hope everything works out for you and thanks for your comments.

I run an Intense Carbine 29, my son has a Giant 27.5.. We have no issues with tire rub on the tailgate. For $150.00 it’ll work until otherwise determined not functioning as expected..

Is there any chance of your forks denting the protruded portion of your tailgate? I’ve seen where guys were complaining that their tailgates were dented no matter what pad they used.

Yup covers it right yup! The price you have to pay on Ram unless you modify the tailgate pad. Thanks for watching

It was only $150 Canadian so like $120 US I believe. It really does work well I was very happy I bought it!

I have a tonnauo cover. Do you leave it on all the time or only when you go riding?

You would want to put it on when you ride and then take it off. The cover would probably not close completely with the tailgate pad on. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the video.. I to was unsure of the figment onto the large Ram tailgate. 16’ Ram 3500 DRW. Did you lock it to the bed or have any rubbing on the paint issues?

No paint issues or rubbing, fits all the way to bottom of tailgate. I lock it to my stack loop in the bed just in case some one tries to steal it lol.

No, unfortunately you can not shut the cover over the tailgate cover. Thanks for watching

Are you able to use your roll up cover with the tailgate pad attached?

If you mean the camera hole on the tailgate pad, no. It does not line up. That would be the only issue with this bike pad on a Ram. Thanks for watching.
