Man on cross-country skateboarding trek reaches Arizona

Chad Caruso, who is from New York, is embarking on the trek to help raise money for a good cause, as well as hoping to become the first person to solo-skate from coast to coast. FOX 10's Stephanie Bennett reports.

Have followed a few skate journeys across your country over the decades, I think what's different here Is Chad (who is very respected skater already), is making an Adventure of this with nothing more than the stuff I take to work with me (Board inc). It's super grass roots that's for sure.

damn ...growing up I was told I was a THUG and wouldn't amount to anything because I liked to skateboard.....now I see its in the olympics as a sport....we need to get away from these OLD as ways of thinking and OLD ass ppl ruining everything because they don't like it. keep going buddy you can do it . I find reporters voices so strange. She sounds like a completely different person here than on Chad's channel when they spoke casually.

It’s the same with a lot of jobs and professions. When I used to wait tables I would definitely speak a lot differently than if I was having a casual conversation with someone.

If the politicians and media could just sit still without screwing up the country for a couple years, people could really make a difference in our communities with messages like these. Lets see news stations talking more about mental health and addiction. Lets have intelligent discussions between us Adults about how we can help ourselves, our children, and our family/friends be happier and more fulfilled in life instead of numbing themselves to death.
