Oh I just watch this in Sept .2020. So sad to see he has passed. He seemed to be a very humble and compassionate man. A man of action not just words. We need so many more like him. I wonder if his family and friends were able to keep his vision going. With all of the death and destruction right now in our country, He would be out putting up crosses and giving love and hope to the families. His actions are the type that portray the American Spirit not the rioting and killing of people screaming for destructive change. None of those punks could even begin to touch the kind of man he was in his life. He us a true American Hero. Where is his Cross celebrating his life?

RIP, Sir. Maria has passed away as well. January 2018, several months after this telecast. They are once again reunited. 🙏 "Mr. Zanis didn’t just make crosses. In the fall of 2018, he delivered Stars of David to Pittsburgh after 11 worshipers had been killed there in the synagogue massacre. He also made crescent moon memorials for Muslim victims of gun violence. In an interview last year, Mr. Zanis said he read obituaries to determine the faiths of those he would memorialize." - The New York Times, May 4, 2020

Some ppl will dislike not BC they think this is bad or negative but BC they find it sad , or in this video BC of how many tragedies and much hurt that has and is happening everyday..or be they feel bad this man has been through so much himself and no help or having to choose to do a great thing like this or if he pays the bills that month..so you should automatically call ppl monsters bc they hit a dislike on a social media platform where they could dislike BC of all types of reasons...and common sense would tell most ppl a video like this wouldn't be a thumbs down BC they think this is bad or not like what this guy has done etc...

Oh my I am bawling like a baby. This a man, that's heart is too big for the emotions that loss gives him. He found an outlet and a life's mission come from that. Well, I agree this would make such an inspirational movie. He fought such adversity, even from his own family. Truly inspirational.

Man I don’t live in Las Vegas but I want to bring this program to Atlanta. My wife and I have been to Las Vegas and love it. I grew up in Albuquerque under some bad circumstances but I joined the Army. Then went through so much good, then some bad. Moved to Cleveland in 2011, met my wife, and now we’re in the ATL. I’m all about helping people. 11 Alive in Atlanta needs to adopt this program you all do. It’s amazing. I wish someone was there for me back in the day. Seriously you all do so much good for people 👏

The crosses he did for my city was one of the last batches he did. We were victims of a horrific hate crime massacre against our beautiful Hispanic community here in my hometown. Thank you, Sir, for helping El Paso heal. We will never forget you!
