#FoxandRob
In this video Robert Richardson surprised his son, Freedom Richardson, returning home after 21 years in prison. Affectionately known among their peers as FoxandRob, Sibil Fox and Robert Richardson are a popular New Orleans based couple who endured and survived 21-years as an incarcerated family and are the executive producers and host of A Conversation with FoxandRob, a game changing weekly commentary on KZfaq.
In 1997 Rob Rich, a first offender in Louisiana, was sentenced to 61-years as a result of overzealous prosecution. Not to be denied, after her release from prison in 2002, Fox Rich lead a valiant charge to regain her husband’s freedom. In June 2018 Governor John Bel Edwards granted clemency to Rob, 90 days later he was released on 40-years of parole. FoxandRob have since committed to work to pass meaningful legislative that will give deserving offenders serving life without parole-parole consideration. Make no mistake about it, this power couple are using their mess-turn-message to bring greater awareness to the systemic issues of mass incarceration, while promoting civic engagement.
As the founders of Rich Family Ministries, The Rich’s, have committed their lives and their resources to not only bringing greater awareness, but also provide sustainable solutions to family’s suffering from the hardships associated with crime and punishment.
With just a little more than #100 days of freedom under their belt, the Rich family hit the ground running and has shared their testimony with audiences far and wide. The family’s message focuses on the two greatest challenges facing the black family since Jim Crow; mass incarceration and marital instability. Not only are they empowering others with their words, they are establishing strategic crisis resource centers throughout Louisiana. This initiative is designed to train church organizers and the community on how to advocate for those directly impacted by incarceration.
This dynamic duo is also the subject of a highly anticipated New York Times Documentary based on their journey to justice. As producers of a Docuseries currently being shopped to studios for production options and with the forthcoming release of their double-sided book, The One That Got Away and The One That Didn’t, FoxandRob are using their platform to speak truth to power and are leading voices in the movement to end mass incarceration. The proud parents of six sons, FoxandRob reside in New Orleans.

The fact her son is 19 and his dad had been in prison for the last 21 years tells me she a bitch. She did raise him tho, but that's not empowering, that's just sad, somethings wrong here, it doesn't add up.

It is important that we know the circumstances before we assume he ever had a problem staying out of trouble. People go to prison all the time for small details like shooting a home invader outside of the house and not inside or wrongly convicted or crimes of passion even so don't be so quick to assume that it's just another prison story.

@Abraham Shekelbergstien Any circumstances with that. Even that is broad. I'm not excusing the guy, I don't know any more about the situation than anybody else but what I do know is that life brings necessities and circumstances that go beyond the surface sometimes and there are many that have done and are currently doing bids for honorable, understandable, wrongful and unnecessary reasons. A backstory would be needed before I assume or imply that he has a problem. The greeting alone, not to mention the level of articulation and wit along with the wife's support tells me that.

The kid isn't his. She has even younger kids. Alot of younger kids. They give conjunctional visits to none violent prisioners, seeing as this guy was a bank robber and robbed a bank with a gun, I'm sure he didn't get special visits. He should of got life. But this is the justice system I guess
