For years I was not a fan of Keanu Reeves (despised him actually) but over the years I began to realize that I misunderstood the guy (or really, didn't know much about the guy at all). Then I've learned more and more about him and I've become a huge fan of the person (I don't idolize celebrities as a rule - I tend to be anti-celeb). Keanu is a strong, silent guy who does good in the world. He has the money and means to do good so he does it, and he tries to do it with as little fanfare as he can. It seems to me that he is pretty conservative in nature, shuns the spotlight, and he lives an extremely modest and humble lifestyle. He's not an effeminate, passive guy at all...rather he is a good listener and communicator and there is nothing effeminite about that. And it seems to me that when he talks a political view, he can be diplomatic so as not to offend those with opposite views but he will clearly and concisely communicate exactly what his viewpoint is without compromise either. I truly do root for this guy even though I typically am the anti-elite kind of guy.
