Definitely the best way to get close to the ride of a Raptor, you will just need a 2" lift at minimum

On the Fox 2.5 and 3.0 with the DSC feature, this provides a low-speed and a high-speed compression adjustment. Everyone feels things differently so adjusting these are going to be based on you specifically. You will have to change this when you're driving on the street and then hitting a trail. And trails constantly change based on the weather and others who go there which will reflect the adjustment. On the adjustment knobs, we suggest people leave it as is and record how many clips it's set at, test it out as is out of the box on the street and then on a trail. You'll get an idea of how it feels and then adjust it lower or higher based on your comfort desires. On the street, it should be softer but not too soft as you don't want the vehicle to feel loose. On trails and varied terrain, you do want it firmer. Log your information and make adjustments based off of that.

Nothing would be comparable to the 3.0 unless you're going to like a King 3.0. There are other alternatives like 2.5 series which are cheaper that Fox 3.0 are are just capable in various scenarios.

Fox does not make 3.0s for the JKs but they do have a 2.5 diameter body Factor series set of shocks that uses the same internal bypass design and has dual speed compression adjusters. @@ShockSurplus ok gotcha, so my 2004 f250 superduty is on a 4 inch lift with 35 inch tires and 22in rims. I recently got stationed to New Orleans and the roads here are atrocious. I currently have some pro comp shocks and i still feel every bump in the road. I do no off-roading at all, but the potholes in these roads giving me the off road experience

usually if you're going to stagger shocks like that, it would be 3.0s in the front and 2.5s in the rear. 3.0s to provide more comfort and to eat up the high speed terrain better.

What year is the F150? They don't make the 3.0 series for every vehicle quite yet but we can check.

Do you have 22" wheels? (not tires) - if so, those are impacting ride quality quite a bit, unless you have a lot more rubber to help. Full 2" lift springs that are soft rate will be a lot different than stock spring and 2in spacers. Lots go into ride quality, not just the shocks, hope that helped.

Whether it is overkill or not has to do with your preferences and use cases really. The 3.0s can be both more comfortable and significantly higher performing than the 2.5s due to their internal bypass design, so they can make it more livable if you want a nice ride and boogey harder if you like to rip off road. That said most people do not have the budget for 3.0s so the 2.5s are far more popular. Fox really does not send out test sets of their shocks so anybody testing them, usually has to foot the bill which is a little difficult to justify for a lot of people since they more than likely will not running them long term. That said we had a set come back in with a few small defects that we are repairing so we can throw them on our Bronco for testing.

No, they are only available in lengths for vehicles wtih 2-3" or 3.5-4.5" of lift. With that said if you feel like you need the performance of a 3.0 shock, you would probably want to pair them with at least a little bit of lift to get a little more useable travel anyway.

We wish so as well but most companies we work with are tuned based on US standard. We don't know much of the UK specs and what changes or maybe they are the same frame just different body.

@@ShockSurplus I’ve asked my local Ford Dealership to find out and to take eyelet measurements when the truck goes in for a service later this year! It’s odd that variance exists between the European/UK Ranger and that of the NA model. My vehicle has raised suspension too!

The position sensitive design might mean they may feel a little extra stiff when under a load and sagged out of their ideal ride zone, but depending on how heavy the load is, that might be a good thing.

The set on screen is for a 2018+ Jeep JL Wranglers, but they are available for JT Gladiators, 21+ Broncos and F-150s, as well as pretty much any Raptor. There should also be some coming soon for the 2022+ 3rd Gen Tundras. I am sure there is another application or two I am missing as well.

Currently are not offered for the F150 unless you have a full Raptor conversion.
