Congratulations Jesse and to your Wife, who's done all the work. Point of thought though. Do as many diaper changes, baths, feedings and late night or early morning walks holding her when she cries. Memories that last and carry on especially when they're grown. From one Dad to another.

@@littleme3597 Have you lived it and done it? I learned from similar old school parents. An infant crying is comforted by the warmth of your arms and your heartbeat, and will settle in to sleep even when they are a baby that is colicky. A toddler is more along the lines of which you speak in that the capacity of their mind's intellect can adhere to what they're told and adapt to their surroundings. Humbly
