The problem is the same in the nfl. The more offensive the game becomes, the less fundamentally sound the approach is. Basketball is a global sport so it makes sense that more international players are playing and at a higher level. The international players will tell you its harder to score in europe than it is in the nba. The college game is on its death bed i believe. Your watching guys from when they are in diapers and you rarely see them getting better defensive wise. If they can shoot a 3 thats all they care about plus the league contracts are crazy. Ben simmons never had to develop a jump shot but got a max contract. Its equal to the nfl qb market. Next man up instead of do you deserve to be paid.
