Cool note about this song, Smoothe the Hustla wrote the chorus for this(Jay reworked it) and Foxy verse. It was orginally his song, he just switched all the lyrics to a girl. There is a reference track of his version ive heard.

The guy they’re showing singing to the chick on the hook is Jay Z’s mentor rapper Jaz-O. He made the beat and he’s sings the hook on the song. Queens rapper Mic Geronimo and Irv Gotti is in the video also. Irv was responsible for Jay Z and DMX career. Irv use to be the A&R at Def Jam in 96. He helped Jay hook up with former Def Jam president Kevin Liles to get this song on The Nutty Professor soundtrack, which was also a Def Jam album.

Yeah, it's some dope, DOPE female rappers. Problem is, they never really have any backing (i.e. Lady of Rage) and they don't have any tight albums, and most males shit on them to be quite frank. Foxy, is dope and has a tight flow. Missy's best tracks she didn't even rap on lol (and she can sing pretty good). You also have Rah Digga, Shawnna, Mia X, Da Brat, Bo$$, early Salt n Pepa, and a few more that I can't think of. And Queen Latifah is severely underrated...I never knew until I went through some of her songs a few years ago.
