2:38 Seeing Mahrez there really broke my heart, we Algerians are still sad not going to the world cup after our high hopes of getting into the final 8 or even semi finals of the competiton, The ref killed us with 2 clear non given penalties , 2 disallowed goals (for no reason) and much more. I guess we'll see you there in 2026 alongside our brothers from Egypt.

Thanks for hints at more advanced forward thinking. My tiny advice: stay flexible no mater how amazingly masterminded your strategy for wildcards will be. I feel that I missed some great hauls last season as I didn't want to detract from my initial plans for chips use. 🧡❤

Great video, I appreciate the simple way of explaining this season, I’ll definitely be playing more aggressive early on. I did notice that you did show Diaz’s price to be 7.5 at the “players not going to World Cup” part, but other than that the video clears everything up. I wonder if the World cup will effect players performance leading up to the world cup,players will undoubtedly not want to pick up an injury before the WC so might take it easy or try miss games through suspension etc,will be interesting to see.

Think the best strat for this year is to all in your team based on GW1-5 Fixtures and then wildcard for a team that will take you to worldcup,i guess it helps for the template that City,Chelsea,Liverpool and Arsenal all have such kind opening fixtures,i actually wish it was not the case and smaller teams had the better opening run,it would give a lot more opportunity to take risks and get a lead early if they pay off.I guess there are a few,Leeds,Brighton,Brentford look a few options,im a leeds fan and even i find it to risky because of their new signings and how they will fit in.

Hey fpl focal during GW 16 and 17 do we maintain the team value we had all the way through to GW 16 or we start afresh with £100m in value, and also do the player price values refresh during the break?

This one is difficult. I think the team should work with max 1 change per round in the first 5-6 rounds before a possible wildcard. Proposal 1. Ederson, Chilwell, Sancho, Watkins, 100m Proposal 2. Meslier, Martinelli, Neto, Haaland, and 0.5 m in the bank. Is it just me who struggles, or is the choice obvious?

Are you sure you lose your wildcard after gameweek 16? Does that mean you get your second wildcard from gameweek 17 onwards?

You have 3 chances to have "unlimited transfers" so it's important to make use of this. After gameweek 17 deadline is past, you have just 1 wildcard (unlimited transfers) to use, I think you should play aggressive to start gameweek 1 and maybe leave 0.5m in the bank if some solid mid-priced or premium midfielder or striker emerges which many FPL managers do not have in their team. Price changes can cause you to lose a step in the first 4 or so gameweeks I have found over the years.

People going Salahless are going to cry. Look at Liverpool’s opening 6-8 fixtures. It’s got Salah FPL points written all over it. If you go Salahless, in my opinion you have to go for KDB or Son in the midfield.

Do you think they'll implement something within the game to stop people creating 1 week accounts then triple captaining to attempt the "team of the day or week" or whatever it's called? Dunno if it's just me but I find it really irritating!

Don't get bothered by such users. Just enjoy FPL for what it is as you cannot control what those types of managers can do 🇬🇧
