On a miserable 26 point TC26 (Haaland), I've already pulled the pin on WC26, then planning possible BB28 & likely FH29. Neto, Areola, Gabriel, Senesi, Dunk, Doughty, Pau, Saka, Salah, Foden, Hee Chan, Palmer, Watkins, Solanke & Haaland.

Hey Gianni, I’m with you on not wanting to FH in GW29… I’m going to Dead ☠️ End into 29 & either use my WC in 30/31 & free hit 34… Estupinian has thrown a huge spanner in the works & think he’s now a Must Sell

I'm genuinely confused about how Haaland clocked such a high xG against Chelsea, I swear all his chances, bar one header near the end, were just really hard/awkward (i.e. low xG) or really well defended.

Took a -4 last week to get DBL Arsenal defence so 1 FT is enough get Hwang to field 11 (inc Taylor) in the blank. FH 29 locked in.

Im considering a GW 29 WC as my team is already set up for 26-28. That way I can navigate the blank in 29 and set up for the final 10 gws. And save the FH for one of the doubles in 34 or 37.

Dead ending makes sense but aren’t people put off by losing too much player value? Buying back those assets like Palmer, Saka etc that most have held for a long time

While Bailey’s an exciting pick, he just doesn’t have the X mins to justify selection ahead of Douglas Luiz.

DGW should have an option of injury substitution in case a player gets injured while playing, like what happened to Jota. We have to select only from Liverpool midfield subject to availability of money. The choice is left to the fpl manager to use this option or leave it. I would have opted for MacAllister

I personally prefer how it is now… a player having a double gameweek is already quite strong, but that obviously comes with the higher risk of injury which balances it out

I am on Raya Gabriel Saka since WC 20 and I am quite happy about it. I don't have goalkeeper headaches. I would need to sell Jota and Diaz. Thinking about going. Hwang Bailey. what do you think about that? Should I be going Bailey over Douglas Luiz?

Do you think you’re having to compromise to much with the players you’re bringing in when preparing for GW 29 if not free hitting ? What’s the potential points upside if free hitting in GW 34 in your opinion?

Im not sure why you would take a -8 for gw26 when you are still considering FH gw29. I think I'll do one free transfer this week and see what happens with the cup games.

Given how poor the fixtures are, it doesn't matter how few players I have for 29, I won't waste the FH on it. For me, it's simple: FH 34 (maybe 37) has the potential for a massive upsides, 29 has very low potential for upsides, and as the biggest downside of 29 (the poor fixtures on offer) affects everyone whether you use FH or not . . . it seems obvious. For anyone planning on using it for the Blank, how many points do you think you'll get that week? I'm not sure it'll crack 30 points tbh.

And also if bench boost in 29 you can get a huge green arrow because you’ll get 11 players out when everyone that isn’t will probably get like 4.

@@DnD77778 currently my plan is Wildcard this week, roll 27, and Bench Boost 28. I think Bournemouth and Luton are the price I would want for the bench, and with the quality of Bournemouth's double, in think it's well worth it. For me, most people's ploy for WC 30/31 and BB 37 didn't seem optimal. Too much time between them, and 37 is just a risky week with so many teams potentially being out of there particular races by then.

But 34 will have bigger teams doubling, so we should all have players in our teams who double, and should be able to plan for it with a wildcard. I currently have only one guaranteed starter for 29. Triple villa, brentford and spurs on a FH in 29 certainly has some upside.

@@jpjordan90 I agree. As I said earlier in the thread, I'm Wildcarding this week so I'll be set for 29 anyway. So how many points are you hoping for in 29? As I think it'll be low, and that's why I don't think it's worth a chip. Not one with such an upside in a big double.

Luton isn't guaranteed, shouldn't be in 29 like it is a certain fixture

You must have a sense of humor playing fpl....😂😂i sold Saka..Solanke..n saka...oh and Adebayo got injured in warm up...i am on 54 miserable points ...only saving grace is that i know Halland don't have no good record vs Chelsea or Brentford..matter of fact its the first time he scored vs Brentford & his Grandmother passed away i just felt like i had all the signs not too pull that trigger...so Solanke in GW 28 vs SU..n Luton both at home seems best TC on Solanke..

I feel your pain dude....I FH in 25 and lost all points from Saka Watkins Gross Solanke and Neto...I had Salah Diaz to cover some of the pain but for sure lost 20pts this gameweek by freehitting over just TC

As someone who's had Raya, Gabriel, and Saka, i definitely think that's the best Arsenal triple. Saliba is too expensive given his low attacking threat. There's many good defenders at the moment - and there's also a lack of good keepers. So to me Raya *obviously* > Saliba.

@@DnD77778 I agree. I probably shouldn't say there's plenty. Just that there's higher quantity of defenders to choose from than keepers. I can think of about 10 defenders to choose from, whereas Raya, Flekken, and Neto are the only keepers I want, and with the latter 2 it's only because I want both of them for 28, and in 29 Flekken covers the blank.
