Great video guys! I am a newbie and just purchased a walkera rodeo 110. Not an expensive quad but I would like to get some nice goggles for any future endeavors. From what I gathered, I should stick to a brand and use the mushroom antennas? So I would need to up grade my antenna on the 110? Sorry for so many questions! Thanks again.

Glad you guys released a roughly current video; I've always been into model aviation and have been courting the FPV idea since before it was technologically viable, but I've been fairly uninvolved the last few years (flying real ones instead) I'm not totally clear on how the bans worked out. Everyone seems fairly optimistic, which is encouraging, but as I understood goggle based FPV was blanket banned in the states. Was that not ultimately the case? I'd certainly rather fly that way. I'm getting back into the hobby after being out of it for about 30 years, there have been a lot of changes, some of them are the electric motors and drive systems. I still have my 72 meg gear along with a new 2.4 gig system. So it's clean off the work space and work on a couple of your kits I got a while back.

Hi Josh, with reference to the 25mW all-in-one camera/transmitter, I will need a 5V UBEC to run it off a 3S LiPo right? Is there any way to connect a OSD to these all-in-one setups?

You guys showed this huge pelican case thing a while back in another video - it looked like a suitcase-groundstation. Can I get the specs for that? I find that my tripod-based groundstation doesn't travel well and i really like the idea of a giant monitor in a pelican case with some lipos would just be amazing.

what kind of monitor you need? is it a FPV spetial or you can use whatever tv?

You guys should do a quick video where you walk around the shop, and see how many airframes and motors you can find :) You could even give everyone the chance to guess beforehand and whoever gets closest gets an autograph or something

Hey Flight Test Happy New Year 2021 I hope you guys make an updated fpv episode and show how it connects into a RC plane. Going through it all, I understand how it works but cause we don't have a hobby shop local. I have no idea how it actually connects or what connectors I would need to buy. As everything is online! I don't want to have to buy things just to solder and change around wires. Buying this circuit board or that guessing as I go cause store pages just show parts not what goes with it. The industry is getting better but there is still a lot of guess work in making your own craft.

I was wondering what goggle I should buy if I want to get into FPV, I have a P3 but I'll be getting a miniquad or a plane soon: I'm thinking of the dominator v3s, the attitude adjusters version x (seriously, they have to stop adding numbers)the headplays or the poormans heaplay the quanum v2 pros. You see the all in one camera you have? Well i wired that stright in to the battery of my bugs 3 drone. The signal comes through crystal clear for 1 second and the BAM it cuts out. The camera is very warm and still on but seems like it's not transmitting a signal... Am I doing somthing wrong?

Just to be sure if I get the all in one camera with the spiral I don’t need anything else besides the monitor or goggles? Or what am I missing?

Is there any transmitters that can transmit to a standard smartphone? I think DJI drones do this with an app? Would save having to buy a separate monitor.

Is there an easy way to switch channels on an fpv setup? I want to use FPV on my drone, but also use an FPV camera right on the headset. That way, I can quickly and easily look do a line of sight check or actual FPV.

A good tip for beginners!! Horizon hobby had a great All In One FPV kit! It comes with everything you need to get started and they work great, I would recommend! ( it might be cheaper to buy their goggles and camera/trans separately)
