[FPV Rally]
1/10 Rally car with FPV camera.
Rally driving with FPV is really fun.
I felt like I was actually driving a car.

@@smaronboruah Thanks man! I had it working in VR at one point as well, but it made me hella sick hahaha no sync, crooked stereo cameras, and a slow ass gimbal made it painful to experience. Next I'm going for a 3 camera, 3 projector curved screen setup. I can do it on the cheap I think and the illusion of speed is more prominent that way. Learned from a flight sim guy. I want to add motion as well to my seat wheel and pedals, like the dude mentioned above. I'm suspending my rig from heavy-duty bungee cords, and stabilize it with simple soft dampeners. Then using wiper motors from a semi truck, and the guts of some standard heavy duty RC Car Servos I can create high power and FAST servo motors. I want to use RC gear, cause then I can just stick a disassembled RC transmitter in the buggy, and attach the POTS to the suspension arms. The TX will then send me back the exact motions of the 4 wheels without any drift errors... I think lol

Due to constricted views it is hard to do car fpv racing, this looks cool though chasing each other on a long track. For better racing we really need the camera at least 2 meter up but then we lose the feel of the car...maybe 20 cm up, have to test on a frame. Also viewing angles are going to have to get much better 180degree minimum and maybe up to 220degree if that is even available in a small enough form factor without the bubble effect.... I could see fpv racing becoming a reallrpopular sport if they the manufacturers could get a decent car and camera and 3 axis gimbal mount.

I’ve seen that one video where they create a camera setup for a 3rd person view of an actual full size race car. I bet it would work better smaller, and then it would be just like a video game

He has FPV goggles on. There is an onboard camera on the car and a transmitter that transmit signals to the receiver inside the FPV goggles.
