Just found this page. I've seen Leyna Bloom before but never heard her speak. Intelligence is sexy. She will always prosper because she is paying homage to the 80' and 90's FQ who came before her like Carmen, Octavia, Onjeanae and Tanay. Its refreshing to hear the newer generations verbalizing who pave the way for their successes. Y'all should get Tanay and Onjeanae on to talk about the 90's golden era.

This was a FAB opening season. You three ladies have found your rhythm. You all really did your thing here. This episode humanized Leyna Bloom for me. Mad people think she is a nasty person, but no shade, what Tabytha said is true, she has had to be somewhat fierce to do her thing. She has stepped in a lot of rooms that have never been graced by trans women, so I can understand why she has been cold and fierce at times. She made a lot of sense with this interview.

I’ve always been a very private person since a child. I like to put my work as a main focus of my reality. The more experience I’ve become, I realize that it is now time for me to show people who authentically I am, but on my own terms. when you have a long history of just working hard and you work hard at your resume, that should be easily respected and protected. We live in a time where we exploit people because we get to know them so easily. Often also tend to forget that black feminine energy is often unprotected in society unless we are exploited ourselves. I grew up, watching very graceful powerful black women with intelligence lead the society we live in today and now for some reason, we rather watch women who crave toxic attention then woman that have real goals and intentions and intelligence in everything they do. It’s a shame that self-respect is now one the rarest things in our various subcultures.

She’s very controversial (in defense of things, & sometimes provoked) at times, and she also speaks for the girls to know their worth. If this platform is here for the girls, then ALL girls should be included to share their experiences & wisdom for all who want to listen. I see this pod going places . It’s very informative and positive. The only tweak I’ll suggest is that Asia I think is her name (red lip) practice her interviewing. She’s more on the quiet side. Ok I just got to the part where Leyna talks about non-binary people. It kinda reminds me of how people talk about bisexuals and needing to “pick a side.” There’s plenty non binary people who medically transition to various extents. I would love to see y’all interview non binary who are trans. I saw somebody mention Indya Moore; I’d also recommend Jazell (idk how where she’s at on this now, but in a video a while ago she stated she was non binary).
