Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM) is a Catholic evangelization apostolate under the auspices of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception based at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Dave and Joan operate the apostolate from their home near San Antonio, Texas. Since 1999, they have taken the message of Divine Mercy to over 1000 parishes, schools, and conferences across the United States and beyond.
Divine Mercy for America is an initiative launched in 2012 based on praying and sacrificing for our nation the way the Lord instructed St. Faustina Kowalska to do so for her country of Poland in the 1930s. It is both a prayer campaign and a network of thousands of faith-filled Catholics committed to spreading the Divine Mercy message and devotion in deed, word, and prayer. A four-part Action Plan based on the writings of St. Faustina provides a clear way to respond to the problems and evil in the world today.
Members can keep connected by email or text messages and choose their level of participation. The popular novena group members conveniently receive the proper prayers for the day early in the morning so that they are available as needed.

There is no such thing as reproductive rights. The government has no absolutely no jurisdiction over nature and life. This legislation, is nothing more than misguided legal rhetoric. The fecal matter on my toilet paper is worth more. Now that we know that the least of our brethren's lives are in peril, I will pray for their freedom from the bondage of abortion legislation in the same way the Israelites were freed from the bondage of Slavery from Egypt.

I’m so saddened by the blindness of so many people to their sins. I live in California and those of us who love God and believe in the sanctity of life are outnumbered. Prayers for mercy are needed.

I'm in California, too. I had an abortion when I was in my 20s, which devastated me, left me with disabling anxiety for several years. I am so grateful that God was merciful and still blessed me with a loving husband and two children. It breaks my heart to see the increased level of callousness over the life of the unborn.

I totally agree and understand what you are saying about conception and abortion; why is Biden’s name mentioned so many times?This sounds political to me. It sounds like Biden is the only person in the world with this belief. I was taught to talk about the sin but not to mention the name of the sinner. Who are we to judge? I believe God forgives sins.

My dear Fr Chris, you have always been a very good & holy priest & speaker. The difference now is that you no longer worry about those silly people that write letters to your bishop. Fr Chris, just a thought as a woman and mother. When a woman has an abortion, she makes a phone call or sets an appointment up then goes to the clinic but she is detached from the truth and consequences of what she is about to do until it is over then the depression and trauma sets in but it is too late to change anything. This is also the case in nuclear war. Someone in a bunker makes a call, given the codes, keys turned and the buttons pushed. A few seconds later, it is realized what they have just done, millions of people will die but it is too late, you can’t change your mind it is done. Once you detach from killing, war is the next logical move because your conscious has been turned off. That is also why the computer war games are so evil. There are no consequences if you kill someone in a game and if you die the game gets reset and you just start that level over again. You have been desensitized from killing and death. And we have an entire generation who has been desensitized already and another one half way there.

I don’t totally agree with your 1st sentence about women and the detachment, yes some are detached but I’ll wager many more know exactly what their doing. I’m a man 63 years old. On your further explanation of the war analogy I agree people don’t get it unless you’ve actually been in personal combat. Just my thoughts. God bless you and your family 🙏.

I think us Pro Life people need to do more graphic pictures. like a beautiful baby, and maybe a little bloody foot or hand of a sweet innocent unborn child, murdered before it was born.. it would be 'choose life' not death..

Thank you, Fr. Chris, you are one of the many blessings who began life in the beautiful State of Michigan. The Lord has allowed what seems so evil but He knows how to turn it all to good. We must cling to Him and trust in Him. Michigan has been a leader in the movement to protect life. It seems to have fallen hard. Our God is about something wonderful and good. Praise Jesus. May we all be attentive to His Holy Spirit. May the Lord prepare souls to receive His grace and mercy!

According to statistics, over 50% or Catholics think that Abortion should be allowed in most or all circumstances. Maybe before we try to get the Government to be Pro-Life, maybe we should try to get the Church to be Pro-Life. Catholics are having abortions and thinking that it's no big deal. It's no wonder that the rest of the country isn't inspired to outlaw abortion.

We need more preachers like this one. Most of today's priests are too afraid to speak out about sin because it will offend their congregation. They turn a blind eye towards abortion, gay relations, fornication etc. because it is so common and accepted.

Amen! Thanks for speaking out Father Chris about the importance of informing our conscience and being in a state of grace. I have been moved to hear wonderful homilies like yours since my conversion 15 years ago in Medjugorje. We have drifted away from God as a society and we truly need to beg for God's Mercy so we don't perish like in the times of Noah and Lot.

We can only pray even though proposal 3 is passed in MI when it comes to making the decision that the individual will have a conscience and that each of us with the Grace of God have the responsibility to bring the Christian Faith to others and strengthen each other to make the right decision and also parents to listen to your children so they can come to us rather than falling into the hands of the medical community and providers who will commit a crime on our children without our consent

The Lord Jesus christ said to Saint Faustina,( they as in humans mankind) treat me like a dead object, thank you Lord Jesus christ for your DIVINE MERCY a gift 🎁 to us free, a love no one needs to buy ,the days are moving fast, Jesus said My people won't survive if I don't make time go fast, all we can do is pray for our children and unborn babies, the evil one has his hour, but God will have his Day. A PEOPLE who kills their unborn are already a dead people.

@@EPH-re2xj take in the sacraments - ideally, confession at least monthly and communion at least on Sunday. Our sacraments are real grace which readys a soul for heaven. We are given grace through our baptism - it is up to us to cooperate with that grace we have been given. God bless you! 🙏

It was the same here in Ireland a few years ago. Irish people came from all over the world to come home and vote for abortion. Never in my life did I see such a turn out for voting. It was shocking and shameful. May the lord have mercy on us all.🙈

@@tanyac.9005 Thank you for your comment Tanya C. - Yes I am aware of Father Chris Shows since he began, besides the many other weekly teachings he does on Saturdays and when he does morning Holy Mass and 1st Fridays and 1st Saturdays. He's been at this I think at least 5 years now with video shows. It just that TV has in my opinion not much good worth watching except for PBS. People still do watch TV.

@@suegruszka8280 The line for communion is long while the line for confession is short. As hard as it is for some people, we faithful Catholics must humble ourselves and ask for God’s Mercy in the confessional. We are all broken and all fall into concupiscence. Only when we align our will with His will and return to a state of grace will we ready ourselves for heaven. It all goes back to properly informing our conscience. God delights in our return to the confessional - it is Him working through the priest. If you know someone who has not been to confession in awhile, offer to go with them so they are not waiting alone. I have done this several times. God bless you, Sue! 🙏

God bless you Fr. Chris for such a message! Sadly, I know very few people who read ANYTHING - let alone the Bible or the CCC. I know a number of good people I see regularly at Church who believe that is wrong to "judge" anybody and, in the process, throw good judgment out the window. I'm with you and praying for His mercy!

There will be peace during that time. Then a smaller battle which will wipe Satan off the face of the earth. Thank God for that. Imagine a world with no evil. That would be so great. Until then we stay the course. 🙏🙏🙏
