Fr. Michael walks us through a close reading of several of the constitutions, emphasizing the spiritual thought behind them and the care with which each word has been chosen. He explains the principles behind the first two constitutions, then looks at Constitution 8, on monastic profession, and finally begins a discussion of what he believes is the heart of the Constitutions, Constitution 16, On the Active Participation of the Brothers.
