Every baptist i talk to say they used to be catholic as a kid so do not feel bad about reversing in your generation. The baptist church is good for a bible study but they do not have the holy sacraments I would suggest as a catholic to continue to go to baptist church with your family even as you grow into an adult but, as a bible study in your mind. Also continue Mass most have daily Mass and take all necessary steps to be confirmed and recieve first communion. It will be hard to do these steps as the devil is hearing your conversations but remember your weapons against him the Bible, the Rosary, confession, the eucharist. Have a priest bless some crucifixes and rosaries and where them at all times welcome to the battle.

I do as well. My husband and I are from the four square denomination, but I grew up a Catholic Christian. After reading the 5 books that are not in my Bible -like Wisdom, Maccabbees,Jusith- I wanted to just hear more from a priest’s perspective. Father Mike explains so many things in a way I can understand.

I am a Protestant, but thank you for helping me understand the Eucharist. If it really is Jesus' body and blood and not just a symbol, I want it. I'm really confused and conflicted now, but I want the truth, and I want intimacy with Jesus.

+jellojenna6 I recommend you read Rome Sweet Home by Scott Hahn, a protestant pastor who discovered through scripture the Eucharist and other Catholic teachings that led him to conversion. I'd also suggest you look into if there's a parish near you that has an RCIA program (you can learn about the Catholic faith and if you want to you can join us and receive the Eucharist and the Church) I'll pray for you!

- Yes, the Eucharist is. Teaching of the Church on The Eucharist (Council of Trent): Transubstantiation occurs when the Priest consecrates the bread and wine. The accidents of bread and wine do not change. The substance of the bread changes into the substance of the body of Christ ONLY, - blood, soul and Divinity of Christ are present with the body by concomitancy. The substance of the wine changes into the substance of the blood ONLY, - body, soul and Divinity of Christ are present with the blood by concomitancy. Also, I recommend you to read John 6:28 all the way till the end of this chapter.God Bless you.

Thank you so much. The Father God led me to Jesus and converted me from Islam; He gave me his real name in my dream " I AM" and I found this name in the Bible. I believe my conversion had a divine influence; I was reading the Quran at the chapter 19th chapter of Mother Mary reading the verse Jesus says" Peace be upon the day that I was born, the day I die and the day that I shall come back to life again", This verse made me question Islam's claim that Jesus never died nor was crucified. I kept reading and found some crazy things in Islam that do not condone it was as if my reading was directed to find the true face of Islam as I was Muslim by association, I never really read the sources. So I decided to come to Jesus; His words were speaking to my heart, it was as if they were written for me. during that time I had my dream where a voice said" I AM" through a glowing light behind my bedroom door. The interesting facts are that my name is also Myriam (Mother Mary's name in Hebrew), I was born on a 19th as the chapter of Mary in the Quran and my ex-husband(not religious but believes in God) gave me the last name Christian 5 years before my conversion, I still carry this last name today as I feel God gave it to me, lol. I feel none of this was a coincidence. It tells a story that God truly chooses some to open their eyes to the truth while some are lucky to be born in the truth but yet do not believe.

I am forever Catholic. No mistake and no hell. Psychopathetic muslims love hell and call it Jannah or paradise where Mohamad and jihadists are with 72 virgins. In their mosques and public places, women and men are segregated but in jannah... its true hell of free sex and endless sex... that's the work of allahu akhbar. Come Holy Spirit, Come and reveal the satanic hypocrites +++

herbert munson... the fact that you cannot understand the love of God... your hatred is hell.... as we see it, you are speaking from hell and twist your hatred into the fire of hell. yeah, hell is a real place for you and that's why you like to send people to hell. My god tells me to love and he is love. Yours is satanic and it is in your mind, not only in the bible. I know and I believe in God. You believe in hell and in satan. Whichever side it is, ITS A PERSONAL CHOICE BUT YOUR CHOICE IS PATHETIC... CHSC +++

Yes, Yes, Yes! I’m 74 so I understand. I recently found Father Schmitz through listening to The Catholic Talk Show. This here brought tears, I have lots to unpack, cradle Catholic who hasn’t been devoted/practicing in a very long time. Now I find myself unable to receive the Communion due to having Celiac Disease diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago. Vatican does not recognize Gluten Free Hosts. Just recently the Precious Blood was brought back, I was thrilled even though, I would have to sit in the front row, first seat in order to be the first to drink from the Chalice. Went to Confession after Decades. I started thinking about the fact that I am remarried to a Lutheran/non-practicing. Even though I got an annulment from my first marriage I thought I would ask the priest in Confession if I could receive Communion. His answer was you need to speak with your Pastor but also added “Jesus has his daughter back” tears again. My pastor tells me yes I can my husband just has to sign a few papers. Well those papers turned into him needing to get an Annulment from his first wife because she was Catholic and they married in the Church. I also want to have my my marriage blessed by the Church, it’s called a Convalidation. So that is where we stand right now, met with the Deacon and my Husband is in the process of completing 80 questions to be reviewed by the Tribunal. If he doesn’t get the Annulment, I don’t know where to go from there. I still have to deal with the fact that I cannot receive the Eucharist because I cannot have a speck of Gluten. If all pans out, I will be able to receive the Precious Blood but is that enough for me to get to Heaven????? I don’t know but I’m doing everything I can to make this happen. Do I risk my health and go ahead and receive the Eucharist, does Jesus want me to do that? My Dad died from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, he had Celiac Disease and didn’t adhere to the only thing there is to treat it which is your diet, it’s difficult but I’m doing it. There isn’t any cure, treatment, meds and it’s for life. I’m militant about being Gluten Free. My Grandfather died from stomach cancer and I tend to believe that he could have also had Celiac Disease that wasn’t diagnosed due to it being many years ago. Comments are appreciated…❤

Father Mike not only has Our Lord’s voice in my soul brought to me back to him but I went to mass for my very first time yesterday morning and I was so moved that I returned to the Vigil mass the very same evening! I have been calling by Jesus Christ at very young age and the Catholic faith has resonated within me from the my elementary school years but not until I found your Podcast and your lectures did I know that I was meant to seek out a Catholic Church ( so I prayed upon Jesus to guide me to the right church for me and I found Saint Jude The Apostle in Lewes, Delaware where Father Lewis. ) I have chosen to become a Catholic Christian and I begin my journey to through the spiritual process next September! Thank you for heeding to God’s call and becoming a Father of our Catholic faith and becoming the first worldwide Catholic priest on KZfaq because you have saved me and endless others as well as impacting everyone who listens to you!

I will be 67 y. o. in 15 days. I am Catholic, born and raised. I’ve loved God, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit my whole life. I believe He just got a hold on me and would not let go, no matter how much I sinned. But my mind was not in sync with my heart and soul. I first listened to Fr. Mike at the end of this past lent. I can’t believe how much he has taught me. Even so, I stopped listening for quite a few months and about 5 days ago I was drawn to him again. I don’t know why it’s him and not another priest but even as I write this the thought came to mind, “because he will be sainted in heaven, if not on earth “. He’s made me laugh and cry at my ignorance of God. I need many, many prayers to totally make it back to Church and my God. Thank you for helping me! ❤

For the last few years, i’ve identified as agnostic but lately something’s been making me interested in Christianity. then a couple of days ago, a Fr. Mike video was one of my suggested videos, so i decided to watch. he explains things so clearly, nothing like i’ve ever heard. and then i stumble on this video…and now i am just lying in my bed sobbing…i am so overwhelmed with this feeling of love. i feel the beginnings of my walk with Jesus. it’s intimidating yet wonderful. thank you, Father Mike. you’ve awakened something in me.

Jesus cannot help you in the day of judgment, only the Father in heaven. Isaiah chapter 43 10. "You are my witnesses," says the LORD, "and my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I am He, besides me there is no other God; there never was and never will be. 11. I alone am the LORD, and there is no savior except me. Mark Chapter 13 32. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father Matthew chapter 7 22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? 23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. Quran chapter 46 5. Who is more iniquitous than him who pray, besides Allah [ the Father in heaven ], those who will not answer him until the Day of Resurrection, and are heedless of their prayers?” 6. And when humanity is gathered, they will be enemies to them, and will renounce their worship of them. m.clearquran.com

I had been an atheist for 10 years when I first realized, unhappily, that God really was there. I remember vividly telling Him, fine, but at least will never be a Catholic. Two years later, I let a friend take me to a Mass. I recognized the same Presence at the consecration. At that moment, I was Catholic. Period. 38 years later, I am more grateful of His love than ever. He is more real, more there, than the husband I married and the children I birthed. And sinner though I am, I can still see Him, in those He has created. "How can we tell them, that they walk around shining like the sun?" Thomas Merton

I have been catholic for my whole life. Growing up, people have told me it is the one true faith. I wanted to know how they knew that. I have loved my catholic faith always, but I just wanted to know how they knew. 3 years ago I was going to ask a priest that question. When I was going to, I heard in my heart to wait, God will give me the answer. Earlier this year in the summer, I had a life changing experience at a Steubenville conference involving the Blessed Sacrament and my plea was, Lord, I believe, but heal my unbelief. And He encountered me that night in a way I never thought possible. Now, I saw someone mention this video in the comments of another video so I looked it up. As I was driving home listening to it, God finally gave me His answer. The Catholic faith is Jesus's church that He established with His body and blood. I know my life is completely different, I will preach the gospel the rest of my life.

@@josephcorrigan9160 the Catholic Church cannot, by definition, be a "denomination." It is THE one, holy, universal, Apostolic Church established by Jesus in 33AD. All other (40,000+) are the "denominations." The splintered ones. Jesus established O N E Church, against which the gates of Hell shall not prevail. That means HIS Church is still, and always will be, alive. The Catholic Church is the one, holy, universal, Apostolic Church with the authority granted by God. Another point.. as I was on my journey to becoming Catholic (new convert as of this Easter), when sitting in the Cathedral waiting for Mass... I was in awe. But, when the Mass began and it got to the point where the Priest prepares for communion, it was like a voice whispering .. 'pay attention'. I sobbed without knowing why, and when I went home and did research, I cried all the more for what I had witnessed. Since Aug. of 2020, until 4/3/2021 when baptized, confirmed & given first communion, it would break my heart at times not to partake, but I knew His reason for it. What breaks me even more are the lukewarm Catholics who do Not believe in what they partake. I mean... come on... He died for us all, and there are those who treat it as a myth.. that it isn't what the Church teaches. Wake up.. please, and know He is there, and He is watching and knows. Come back to Him.

I was born Catholic baptized when i was a baby. I had a really confusing childhood, because we would go to church and here all these good things about family. I grew up with my MOM and Sister. Father left before I was born. So i would get home from church and get beat on by my mother and sister. I was the youngest and little one. So I was a human punching bag for there anger. It really messed with my head. I finally grew and they could no longer beat me. And i stopped going to church for a long time. But I felt empty. So I research all kinds of churches and I found that the Catholic church was the only one true church. I used to go to adoration (where the eucharist is in a thing that you can see it but it is behind glass) I was in there praying and looking at the eucharist and I never felt anything like this, I was looking at the eucharist and it was as if Christ himself was calling me, I just stared at the body of Christ and felt so close to Christ. I knew then, it was way more than a symbol. It was Christ. So I am Catholic again. I cannot pay attention to all the people even Priest that are just strange. I go to church to receive communion.

So 3 years later i'm in RCIA and I'm seeing this for the first time. ironically I've been a pediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU RN for the last 12 years. An infant's need for intimacy is so strong, and so supported by evidence and research, that doctors now order "skin to skin contact" or "Kangaroo care" for NICU babies. Volunteers come and just hold hospitalized infants when their parents can't be there. We've found it is just as beneficial to their recovery as medications and blood transfusions. I've known this my whole professional career, yet this is the first time anyone has brought up the fact that we still need this as we age. We need food and nourishment as infants to survive, this never changes. We know we need love from other people to survive as infants... why haven't we figured out this never changes either?

@Yusuf Ahmed - Well said and top marks to you ; Allah is definitely the same God ,that Jesus prayed to and worshipped . God alone is worthy of all praise , honour, glory and power for ever and ever. But Christ is more than a messenger , more than a prophet , never committed a sin and always pleased Allah. God worked in him , to such a degree that every word he spoke , every good action he did , was done perfectly in a human being. So in Christ , i see God in action by word and deed and done perfectly with all human limitations but never sinned. Yusuf , who are not far from the Kingdom Of God. Jesus could be summed up as one who always pleased Allah ; the creator of Heaven and earth and all that is in between. Thank you , for the time , you spent on this essay ; Yusuf. Allah is compassionate and merciful and Jesus exemplified that as a human being. We are all monotheists Jews , Christians and Muslims; when all is summed up and properly understood.

I married a catholic man and I've converted not only because he is one but because I've learned to love, accept and walk in the path of god. Everyone was very WOWed at my decision because they never thought I'd ever convert to being a catholic. I'm still learning everyday but It's brought peace to my life. My side of the family are Hmong (asians) and we were raised to know about only shamans, some calls it shamanism. Now that is a very different culture! I went through a crazy experience (for me) of feeling like I was being haunted day and night, seeing things, feeling it's presense (literally) at night when it's time for bed or when I'm alone. I was terrified, so scared that I force myself to stay awake till I'm so exhausted that I would KO right away. My mom tried many things/ways to help me but nothing helped till the moment I started attending church, praying and worshipping god. At those little moments, one step at a time, I realized It started to go away. I believe the devil is real and I believe it was it that was trying so hard to have me scared so I wouldn't see gods true love but it was wrong. God knew my strength and he knew I would be able to get through it. Now I'm a proud child of god

It’s called spiritual attack. They will attack you whenever you do it for the love of God, eg: fasting, praying rosary, reading the Bible, preach the gospel. But do not fret, our God is higher than anyone else and the evil ones won’t be able to touch you. That’s what I’ve learned during my walk with Christ as a revert Catholic. I was a lapsed Catholic and was exposed to different religions including occultism. The devil will try to stop you from getting closer to God. All you need is stand firm in faith. Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil."

I'm a Protestant planning to become Orthodox (although I have a greater appreciation now for the Catholic Church). I truly believe in the literal body/blood of Christ. It required spiritual eyes to see and to recognize my Lord -- before this, I was blind to it. A friend of mine recently said, isn't this a degradation of God? I said, no, not at all! It is intimacy at its core. It is more intimate even than intercourse with a woman -- and I mean that not in the vulgar way. It is truly a deeper, yet real meaning of communion.

The communion is for remembrance of Christ death burial and resurrection and we are ought to do this until he comes back again and carry us with him into eternal glory, Imagine making this literal you are crucifying him all over again and you are offering his blood and body again to the father which is already done in the cross and the one who instigated the communion is Christ himself and not the Apostles and that makes an entirely different interpretation when you stick to the text and the context and use proper hermneutics on it

Thank you. Some time ago. I was with my cousins. We had spent the night together, talking and having a good time catching up. The next morning they said. Should we go to mass? It was Sunday... So of course! Let's go. But then they asked something that floored me. They said it is ok if we go to a Church that doesn't Consecrated the Eucharist. I am terrible with vocabulary so I had no idea what they were talking about. So my cousin explained that it means they see it only as a symbol, not as Jesus himself. I was shocked... Even with it told to me. I still didn't understand. I said.. of course, it's Jesus, why else would we eat it at Church? He didn't say eat this pizza in memory of me. To me the whole purpose. The reason for Mass besides getting together as a community and praising God. Was just that... The Eucharist. It was a celebration of Jesus's promise. For me what Jesus's said was fact... Amen, end of story. And I refused to go. During that time I was young, and with heavy feet in sin in many ways. Unknowing mostly. SO I am and was not perfect. I am almost 40 now, and I just recently (Months), in fact, renewed my Faith and started going to Church again, not just Sundays either... So no, I am not perfect. I never have been. I am the opposite of that. I have been lost, alone and allowing sin to lead me to a very empty place. But it never occurred to me not once that Jesus's ever lies. Men do, people do, even people of the Church do... but Jesus? no way. In fact, this was not the only thing that shocked me that people ask about. All because my heart and soul still belonged to the Truth. I guess I am an example, you don't have to be perfect to trust Jesus's words. The truth will come out of you. Long as you listen, even with our own mouths. He speaks it. Even without us knowing what we ourselves are saying. And as long as the truth remains in you... some way, somehow you will be saved by them. I was... This was my first time seeing anything of Father Mike. First time ever hearing this speech, and I will now be listening, as long as he keeps speaking. I'm a dummy, I am not able to comprehend it. Even if I just sat down to read the Bible. My eyes get cross-eyed, and I don't understand most of what I read. So thank GOD for the voices and brains that ARE able to understand, and ARE Brave to come out and help those like me to understand things. Not understanding and being confused every other minute... Is a daily lifetime thing for me. Thank you, God, for the Voices to help those like me so we can understand your Love too. I love you, Jesus! Amen. A thousand times Amen.

The Church - not a follower of Jesus, but a totalitarian idolatrous cult. "The Church is exactly what Jesus preached against." (The philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche in Tolstoy Excerpts, Estate November 1887-March 1888 VIII 11 [257] and [244]) Although the film The Da Vinci Code shown in cinemas was only a film adaptation of a novel, the church had reacted excitedly to the film's release in 2006. For it was like a harbinger of revelations to come. Now the year is 2021, and more and more has been coming to light for several years now. And even if the details in the then newly shown film are only fictitious (e.g. the existence of a bodily descendant of Jesus), the core of the plot hit the mark: the existence of the church is based on a conspiracy theory that does not correspond to the facts. This consists of its claiming to be a proxy for the cause of Jesus of Nazareth, for which there is not only no evidence, but countless counter-evidence showing how it is in fact opposed to the man from Nazareth. The Church is - formulated in terms of religious history - a "syncretistic religion", i.e. a "mixed religion". For it is composed of elements of ancient mystery religions, the Old Testament priesthood, archaic "polytheism" and voodoo-like blood cults, into which elements of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth have been woven - even partially falsified. In its organisational structure, the administrative units of the Imperium Romanum were adopted, and the total claim to power of Roman emperors was transferred to the Catholic Pope and to the ecclesiastical hierarchy. In summary, the Church could be described as a totalitarian idolatrous cult. And wouldn't one then have to conclude that it administers an edifice of lies that, seen as a whole, stands for the greatest fraud in the history of mankind as we know it? Although it has been possible over and over again in the last 2000 years to prove the fraud of the Church of Rome, the Chair of Peter and the Protestants who have degenerated into its "appendage" have nevertheless been able to assert themselves in the consciousness of the world public alongside the Orthodox as the alleged representatives of a so-called "Christianity". In this way, however, the good name of Jesus of Nazareth is being wickedly abused. For almost 2000 years, the churches have murdered in His name, waged wars, threatened with the eternal damnation they invented and misled honest seekers of God in many ways and plunged them into suffering and misery. At all times, the aversion of many people was unfortunately also directed against Jesus, the Christ, although He has nothing whatsoever to do with the Church and its teachings, practices and crimes. This is the abuse of God and Christ by the Church 1 - Killing is sometimes allowed and sometimes necessary. 2 - A hierarchy with power for a single fallible person 3 - The usurpation of a church state through fraud 4 - Churches of stone worth millions 5 - A cult meal adopted from idolatrous cults 6 - Initiation rite infant baptism as forced Christianisation 7 - The ghastly doctrine of an alleged eternal damnation 8 - Opinions and outward appearances are declared to be "necessary for salvation 9 - The hostility towards animals and their release for animal murder 10 - The appointment of priests and theologians whom Jesus never wanted. 11 - Alleged virgin birth and unchristian veneration of Mary 12 - The collection of taxes and subsidies from the people 13 - The funeral and death cult 14 - Compulsory celibacy 15 - The unlimited accumulation of property 16 - Useless auricular confession to a priest or minister 17 - The falsification of biblical passages to gain power 18 - Special vestments, cowls and bonnets for cult personnel 19 - Tiara and mitre as sovereign caps for the church hierarchs 20 - Cult of personality with veneration of allegedly "blessed" and "holy" persons 21 - Ritual lyric prayers and litanies 22 - The invention of a "doctrine of atonement" and display of the corpse 23 - Pulpits for the priests and ministers instead of equality 24 - Cult altars, fetishes and cult of images 25 - Church assets worth billions and homage to ministers 26 - Alliance with the rulers 27 - Ecclesiastical phrases and the manoeuvring between ifs and buts 28 - Mockery of the resurrected Jesus through alleged relics

One cannot be born any religion. The Bible says we must be born again in John 3:3. Read that chapter between Jesus and Nicodemus and how he explains that. That is not what the Catholic catechism teach.. so they would be contrary to scripture and the Bible itself. I just now read this, 11-2023. I am a practicing Catholic Christian and the thing that helps me celebrate the highs in my life (my marriage, the birth of our kids, the serenity of my fly fishing trout stream, etc.) as well as the lows of my life (the passing of my Mother after suffering from pancreatic cancer, the death of my nephew following an automobile accident, etc.) is the unfathomable relationship I have with my Lord Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. His body being physically present in me is the fuel that truly strengthens the Holy Spirit within me and I pray, opens my ears to hear His word, know His plan, and live each day glorifying Him through my actions. I’ve heard before the ‘physical intimacy’ analogy (sexual connotation) that Father Mike used in describing the relationship with Jesus in the Eucharist, but like the expressions on the faces of some of the young girls in the audience when he was talking about that in the video, it makes me uncomfortable to hear that perspective. I would rather seminary teach and priests convey that the physical body of Christ that we receive in the Eucharist is real Food that strengthens our bodies and enables us to do His will. For me, that’s what physical intimacy with Jesus means. Peace be with you ❤

I will pray for you. This calls to mind an incredible Catholic (Gabriel Castillo, or gabiafterhours) that was baptized but not raised Catholic, and described the event which led to his conversion: He heard voices that told him he wasn't deserving of forgiveness, which scared him. He had the urge to pray the Rosary but when he tried to start, he was pushed down and was held by the throat so he couldn't speak. Once he started the Hail Mary in his head, he was able enough to choke out words. At his vocal "Hail Mary," the force left him completely. He was afraid, so after a frantic Google search he soon came across a Catholic page about demons, and trashed or boxed his pagan symbols, his mom's New Age books and Buddhist statues, porn, and all else that which demons could fester... And since then, he's only grown in faith. So for any advice from a Catholic, we believe the prayer the Devil and his angels despise, hate, and fear the most would be the Rosary, so if you have any more demonic encounter I'd advise to call upon Mary with a Hail Mary prayer. God bless!

Jesus made one perfect sacrifice for all time that does not need to be re-offered every day on Catholic altars around the world. I am praying God will lead you to the truth.

They're not demons. They're aspects of a whole. They're of the same body and the love inside combines them to a whole. Jesus is the harmony of the union of all. God is the all. Hi. Thanks so much for writing. You said that Catholics know the Lord through the Eucarist. However, Jesus said that, unless you are born again, you will not enter heaven. Referring to the Holy Spirit, He said, "Whoever believes in me will have rivers of living water bubbling up unto eternal life." Conversely, a person who does not know the Holy Spirit is not saved (i.e. does not 'believe' in the Biblical sense). Do you have that river of life or are you not saved? Eternal life is simply a friendship with God: no more and no less. You can fellowship with God at the beach or when shopping. Jesus said, "This is eternal life, that you know God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent." He also said, "My Father will give the Holy Spirit to whoever asks of Him (Luke 11.13)." That is what Christ taught, but it seems to be contradicted by Catholics saying, "No, Jesus is not right. It takes more than asking to receive the Holy Spirit. You must receive communion - and here are the Bible verses to prove it!" Is that your position? Jesus is wrong and you have Bible verses to prove it? Finally, the Apostle Paul said, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed." I do not want you to miss real life, a genuine friendship with Christ. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

A house divided cannot stand. Doest your wisdom know as such like would be from the word of God? (Sacred scripture) wouldst you participate in things toward The Way to heaven beyond ordinary lives- suitable to only your own obedience? (Sacred tradition) Have you been trialed to such limits you require no dispute, you are simply full of piety? (Blessed sacraments) and you sayeth unto others your wisdom and heart is ultimately sure, yet having been divided by these? Surely you must know at least these to tear asunder the origin of these. You'd say that even St. Pietro the first Pope directly appointed by Jesus erred in ministry? Directly accountable to- Sacred tradition, sacred scripture, and blessed sacraments. Rend your heart I pray. May no discourse come to you, might the tongue which burns even my own words now not cause further error. In sincerity I pray thus.

@@brettmerz8973 Hi. Thanks for writing. You wrote, " Doest your wisdom know as such like would be from the word of God? " It is written, "They Word (not 'thy church') is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." That is, you quote your church leaders; in them you claim to have the truth. Yet, I quote the Lord Jesus Christ Who said, "The Holy Spirit (i.e. not fallible people) will lead you into all truth." For example, Catholics teach that, in order to be saved, a person must be baptized and receive communion - all without any assurance of salvation. Yet, Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10.13)." Yet, if we place Catholic doctrine in the form of Romans 10.13, it would read, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord, is baptized Catholic, and receives Catholic communion might be saved." Paul wrote, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed." Obviously, you have a different gospel! That said, suppose that you are right, that baptism is a requirement for salvation. Please, then, interpret Romans 10.13. It says that whoever calls will be saved! That is, just by asking, you can meet God, be born again, be transformed into a new creation. Then, in obedience, be baptized and enjoy communion with the Lord. I can explain your verses on Baptism and communion. Please explain Romans 10.13! The fact of the matter, you cannot do so and remain Catholic. You have to either twist the words of Paul (i.e. preach a different, therefore damnable gospel) or ignore his words. Yet, I hope that you get to know Christ - just by asking. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

@@kenshiloh You have contradicted yourself Ken. You'll quote Jesus words (God's) which are divine and flexible in power and mystery, but also an apostolate. Jesus himself says. "He who does not eat my flesh nor drink my blood, shall not enter" that's not even the full text which is even more explicitly clear and tested. ESPECIALLY at the last supper which was the Institution of the body and blood which St. Peter made darn sure to do in rememberence carried forth to this very day. You'll say paul's word greater than THE Messiah? Furthermore, another issue i've noticed in study with (i'm guessing you're at least anglican let alone prodestant) is you're quoting from probably not even a complete bible. Quote from at least a complete copy, before cherry picking from an incomplete one. let alone against the original Church
