Frabill Bait Station Review. I made a bad decision!

I spent some extra money for what I thought was going to be a great way to keep my bait alive...the Frabill Magnum Bait Station 19. It didn't work out, and I wish I had never bought it. I hope this helps save you some money.

You are welcome. I am happy it helped you. FYI, now I really like the Engel. It has stainless latches rather than the plastic

I've had the same issue with similar items. Bass pro has 60 day return policy. I ended up going with engel and love it.

I also have an Engel now, but typically just use a Home Depot buck with a good aerator. lol. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for that input. I was leaning towards it but, now I’m going with the Engel 13 with the metal patches and rechargeable aerator.pump.

I have the engel 30 quart and the 13 quart. Did upgrade the aerators to lithium ion rechargeable on both. LOVE THEM !!

Just found your channel. Great content. Recently purchased a Hobie PA 14 IKE Edition for bass fishing. After watching your videos thinking of doing some salt water fishing. What would be the best month to book a charter with you.

We had opposite experiences. I’ve had my frabill magnum 13 for a year with no issues. In fact, it’s so quiet I sometimes forget it’s on. That’s how I accidentally kept shrimp in it for 4 days.

I bought the smaller one don't care for it always leaks went to Walmart bought a one gallon Coleman jug I feed the air hose down the spout better than any bait bucket I ever owned

I have it, had to replace the aerator twice before I got a different one. The plastic on the strap broke early for me. My clips are still there but the lid won’t shut. So the clips are barely holding it and if I bump it the thing opens up wide.

My third aerator just crapped out on my Frabill 19. The first two the motor would cut out and the most recent on, the switch failed. No luck dealing with Frabill. I think I’m just going to Velcro a cheap aerator into the recessed area. Maybe you can find generic latches and Frankenstein your bait station. I’m done with Frabill products!

Well, I bought my frabill 13 before I saw any videos. Fortunately, I can prove when I got it from Amazon, and I'm keeping Frabill's 1 year printed warranty close by.

It's not the uv that broke the latches I live in New York and experienced the same issues after 1 week

Built my own out of an old cooler I put a divider in so I can keep shrimp and pinfsh together

This is a classic example of you get what you pay for, as the old saying goes. Buy quality if you want something to last. If you don’t care about it lasting then go cheap

I sure did not think $120 for a bait bucket was “going cheap”. 🤣
