Hello everyone! Super excited to finally be able to show off my most recent model with you, as I have spent the last few weeks working on it. I really enjoy trying to push the bounds of what is known to be possible to build with LEGO Bricks, so this model served as a catalyst to present some of my new ideas to the world.

LEGO is just like Minecraft, except in real life! Before you ask, no, this LEGO creation is not built anymore. I like to reuse and recycle all of my bricks so I SMASH AND DESTROY them usually about 24 HOURS after I post a video.

The frying pan pillars are illegal. Putting the frying pan handle into those clips risks permanent damage to said clips. I would have suggested using a similar technique that you used on your rock wall, however i don't know how the shape of the terrain would change. To add a positive, the entire build looks amazing, just brilliant. I hope you can keep building this quality builds and better in the future!
@FelanLP
@FelanLP Жыл бұрын
You are right and wrong. With these handle handle peaces in particular is it legal. There are those thick one by one handles/clippers. Those would get damaged from over stressing if you force something in them like that. But these peaces with these thinner arms are made to be able to compensate that extra stress.

The pans are the only things I don't like here, first because the columns look out of place in this great scenery IMHO, second because it seems to be the only place using non-legit connections (pan bars into clips, stressing them).

This wall engineering is so cool! I would have never guessed and probably LEGO wouldn't either. The perturbing pipe forest in a wall -design could be used in everything from scifi to fur Phenomenal! Thats absolutely beautiful model. Out of curiosity, i just got back into lego since I was a child who played with them 35 years ago, but isn't some of the build techniques in this build what LEGO would call "Illegal" build techniques? I don't know if thats how it's worded but basically what I mean is using the bricks in a way that is unintended by lego? Then again, 35 years ago we never used the SNOT technique i have seen used for a while now, we just built from the ground straight up back then, lol. I am still getting used to the SNOT technique, and my gosh, what a name for it! lol

@@GrantDavis Did you really just call me simple minded for preferring to stick with the way LEGOs are intended to be used? @@YouGoneMad Nah, I just get tons of comments like to respond with quippy things whenever I can to make it more fun for myself. There is a whole world of LEGO that goes beyond what is "Legal". None of the techniques that I use actually break pieces. This build and many many other amazing creations wouldn't be possible if we all built how LEGO intended. Hope that makes sense!
@YouGoneMad
@YouGoneMad 2 жыл бұрын
@@GrantDavis It does make sense, but i personally prefer to stick with LEGO legit techniques. Although 35 years ago, SNOT technique would have been illegal, so I suppose LEGO might get some of their new techniques form those that find new ways to use them...Although some techniques you see you just know LEGO would NEVER make legit, if that makes sense? After looking at your model a bit closer, I think your using the poles in a legit way, just nobody ever thought to use so many, and then have the tip create an image, which is what makes it look so different. You actually just gave me an Idea for a Dotted High School style Football Scoreboard! Using a bunch of those straight poles and the 1 top brick with a single side SNOT stud, you could build a GRID of two rows. the back grid holds the poles, and the front grid shows the tip of the poles, and the dots would equal words or numbers? I can build it really quick in STUDIO.IO 2 and get a screen shot if your interested in getting a visual of what Idea that your idea has spawned in my mind??? I am actually quite excited about it now!
