My thoughts too. Will the colors wash out unevenly? Like let’s say the blue sticks and the yellow washes out right away.

​@@samanthap.879 Yes and No From my experience yes colors do wash out in spirts with blue and pink being the winners on staying in However if you wash it with cold water and aree gentle with it in the water it's gonna last awhile especially with the bleach 🤷🏻

@@alexislennon4973 Pink, red, and blue. They like to stay forever. I once had a client who had me put blue in her hair. Then later we changed it to a natural color. She kept that for years. Fast forward those years she wanted highlights. I lifted her hair and when we got to the bowl to wash her out her ends were blue again 😂

Coming from a person with rainbow hair myself, it actually lasts quite a long time if you wash with cold water and take care of it.

Wait, did you not listen or not understand what she was talking about? It took 7 hour to cut and lift. Not to do the entire transformation. That's a pretty normal time for hair as long and thick as hers. It takes me about 5 to 7 hours start to finish, depending on what I'm doing, when I'm redoing my hair. It's really fun to do it myself, it's like therapy lol

A big part of that is just the insane amount of bleach and dye needed for this woman's hair!! Also, for 7 hours, that's a lot of time spent with just one client, so need to pay for labor costs.

It depends who u go to and how much hair u have if u got long thick hair it's be a loy but if u have thin shoulder length hair it can cost from 80$ - 200$ trust me I went to a salon that had 5 stars in my town and they made me pay 160 for then giving me blue and purple hair when I wanted a simple black to white ombre but just last year I found a stylist that pays attention to all my medical needs that my hair can cause for my fibro and ect. And I've never had to pay more then 120

Maybe the same as a wig that would have lasted as long.

I lost 75% of my hair from psoriasis I miss that if I got it blowdried it would fall out as the follicles are too weak.

Depends if you was your hair out in sections. Some people just don't wash there hair for a while to keep the color, in her case within the first wash she does it's gonna completely faded and it's gonna look really awkward. Hopefully she goes back every 2 or 3 weeks to get it refreshed.

The blonde should always look that good if your stylist knows what there doing. It just depends on the right developer and toner

I always thought permanent colours grew out rather than washing out. Shows what I know; I haven't coloured my hair in decades because it's so expensive and I can no longer stand the fumes.

@@andream9470 True, but I'm old enough to be your mom, & unfortunately I live in a tiny, very conservative town. Any time anyone is seen with hair that's not on nature's hair-color chart, it's the topic of discussion in the local grocery store, bank, & diner. To some it sounds like an awful place, & it can be. I've lived here for almost 60 years, so I'm used to it. It's funny though... people here are very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community & mixed race relationships, but rainbow hair freaks them out. Go figure.🤷‍♀️

I understand about the conservative town as I used to live in one where even people would look at you if you wore a hat 🙄 but I don't think couloured hair has to do with age! not even when I was 20 this would've suit me, I think it's the skin tone, features... where I live now I see women in their 50s and 60s with short hair died in pink, purple or blueish tones, once or several of colours. They're very daring and some of them look actually great on them! They dress accordingly too, not too extravagant but definitely not neutral or classical. If you really wanna do it, go for it and let them talk 😆

I agree. I am a hairstylist and I am not huge on the rainbow thing. I see so many and its just like eh. But I really thought this one was beautiful. I think it was the lavender overlay that tied everything together and gave it a softened look instead of it being so harsh like they typically are. 😊❤

I bet she spent $$$$ and it will look good for few weeks...max. Then will be interesting to see the variance of fadage!! Lol

@@marya494 well depending on how dark of grey etc we have quite a few different options now. We jus got a new toning line from Wella that has some nice grey's...ion also has a bunch of grey's now....almost all of the lines do now. It jus preferences of color and or lines.... Good luck.

Obviously it depends on the stylist, but for reference I have super dark and thick hair. So it’s normally at a minimum of around 200 to do a full head of blonde and/or fantasy colors. It also depends on whether your stylist works on a rate of per hour/or by hair color/style. It normally takes around 4 hours to do my whole head, and I have short to medium length hair. (-:

These two are incorrect ↑ It depends on what color the stylist uses, how much bleach they have to use. How much time it takes. Since I can't tell in the video what brand they use or how long it took (I don't have sound on if it says it) im not for sure, but assuming since getting that done with a normal hair thickness is around 500 prolly like 700. They wouldn't make her pay that much more for having thick hair ide assume, I feel like that would be a discrimination situation since people can't control there hair thickness unless they regularly thin there hair with thinning shears.

Retouching lighter at the roots and Sami permanent colors should not cause hair loss.

If it causes hair loss, it’s done incorrectly or waaaaayyyyyyy too much. Like multiple times a week or month. If you wash your hair with the proper products and temperature and style your hair properly… it will last as long as you need it to.
