At least it has a real dovetail neck joint! I've seen enough 60-s low and mid-priced german Hofners that had a simple flat mortise (that invariably fails, but then is very easy to reset too)

Yes it’s called a scarf joint and just needed to be cleaned and glued.

When it sounds awesome, even when your guitars are broken in two, it must be fantastic when fixed.

Hi Could you please tell me what socket I need to adjust the truss rod? I have been trying to find out for a Framus Texan. I would really appreciate it. Thank You!!!

You could have used carbon paper to determine exactly where it was pinching.

I didn't see any attempt to true the neck with the centre line of the body.

This case is screaming: either guitar in, or guitar out. Do you LIKE the risk of the case top smashing down on the guitar and all fruttsels on it? Brrrrr!

i also have one of these old ones. i dont know how to fix it since i bought mine pre fixed and the old owners glued the neck and im not sure how to get it off. it feels like it cant be fixed. the neck is glued at an angle where it touches the strings so it needs to be fixed. do anyone here know how to fix it?. its from 1960s very similar to this one but mine is in a red color

Almost all glue can be broken down with some heat, moisture and possibly vinegar.. unless they used a fibreglass or CA glue.. Epoxy can sometimes be loosened with heat…
