Man this guy can play but it comes out in some really random licks and phrases. Someone stick a chart in front of him! The Warwick semi sounds great too although probably not as intended in this guy's hands.

The star bass is a nice sounding bass, especially for jazz and soulful stuff. Armand displays that very well. Keep in mind he is displaying the sounds of the bass not his playing.

I think he did a stellar job meng. Not everything has to be a to be a western blues penatonic scale. I say no chart and play some soul and groove. Any player can add a new life to instrument. Life and style can be adapted to anything in your hands. I bet no one could replicate his sound on the muted scrap pop and slap like he does on this bass. I love it.
