If you watch the game again, Croatia is on its knees at 3-1, and what I'll say can sound crazy but the way Croatia felt out of place after the third goal makes me think that the final could easily have ended up 5-1 or 6-1 had Lloris didn't mess up and required the French team to take less risks. Compare this to France-Belgium, which was nerve-racking, tense and all-around a battle of two evenly matched giants.
