Only recently found this lovely girl, woman, lady. She seemed to be a wonderful kind lady with a smile for everyone. Sad that she passed so early still beautiful, but has left a wealth of songs and pictures to watch over and over. Every once in a while someone is born into this world and leaves their mark of joy and happiness, France was one such person, missed but never forgotten. I wish I had known her personally in life. X

Je ne connaissais pas cette chanson, elle est vraiment belle et on retrouve la voix merveilleuse de notre amour de France Gall qui me manque tellement, que de souvenirs de concerts et également de rencontres avec elle, moments merveilleux ainsi que Michel. On t'aime tellement France, merci d'avoir marqué ta belle, douce et talentueuse présence sur cette terre bien triste. Jérôme, fan depuis mes 13 ans et j'en ai 56 passé.

My heart is broken. I always believed that one day I would be on a plane, look up at the person sitting next to me, and see France Gall in all of her beauty and splendor. Then, without saying a word, I would in a low, soft voice beginning signing one of her songs to her. That will not happen. I love you France Gall, and your music has always brought me peace and happiness. But, today it makes me want to cry.. I feel so sad..

siempre vivirá como la mas famosa de las yeyes, un icono de la inocencia y la belleza en una chica, leí que debido al inconveniente con gainsbourg no le gusto ser considerada una chica yeye, pero... fue la mejor etapa de su carrera y por la cual muchos la conocimos, inclusive traspaso el tiempo y la distancia ya que soy de otra generación y no soy francés.

When I think that Therion had to make a cover of this beautiful song to make it known from younger generations, it makes me think that in 1968 justice had not been done to it. Since I see so many comments from abroad about this simple but beautiful clip, I just feel sad for non-french speaking listeners because they miss the delightful story that it tells, with the talent and beauty of France Gall in addition

Her delusions driving her to believing it transformed into a prince, but in reality it's all in her mind, she can't tell the difference between reality and imagination. Thus "a new life" for the two of them.
