this year, we have a lot of french prospects, already declared in the draft are Risacher and Sarr but also Noah Penda(not a certain pick) who played on the U-19 world cup 2023 (silver medal) where the best player on the french u-19 team was Melvin Ajinca, who do not declare yet to the 2024 draft, Also a problable first round pick, the french Tidjane Salaun are already declared in the 2024 draft. Pacome Diadet also declared, and could be a first tour, certainly a second tour, highly praised by scouts. Adama Bal is the french sleeper(2nd tour) on the draft, played NCAA with Santa Clara, and won french U20 2023 championship with France (Ilias Kamardine was the MVP on the competition on the French team and could also declare) Next year : Zaccharie Perrin (second best player on the U-19), Nolan Traore, Noa Essengue, Oscar Wembanyama, but our next big hope is Nathan Soliman, who is 14 but already played with U-16, U-17 teams

I'm French and yes we do have better youth development than a few years ago that's for sure, but please calm down with the title 😂 There is a long way to go before saying we are taking over the league and honestly this is good timing to forget how disappointing our last NBA draftees had/have been (Hayes, Doumbouya, Ntilikina, Maledon, Dieng, Okobo etc.)

Nadir Hifi will be back in the draft as the Eurocup winner with Paris. FIY, Paris has won vs Risacher’s JL Bourg. Hifi has done the same thing as Wemby, winning the french league mvp awards since the second half of the season. Nadir Hifi has scored 39 pts with a 44EFF rating in a single game, a FIBA rules game 🤯

i don’t disagree that risacher will fit good in replacing kj, but kj came off the bench for depth reasons not because was struggling. He was a little less consistent but he’s definitely still cut out to start and also a better player than Champagnie, who was starting in his place for the sake of having better depth off the bench.

you should watch Noah Essengue and Nolan Traore. Those are the 2 French that will be top 10 next year (you can pin this comment and come back later to tease me if I'm wrong). And for real, dont sleep on Tidjane this year, he is for sure, the steel of this draft (you can also pin this and come back later, I'll tell you how know all this then). Nadir Hifi should be draft also this year. Unfortunately for him and all the franchises that will chose poorly, he certainly won't.

Soliman is the next big prospect, 14 years already plays vs pros, with some games around 14pts. Mokouri has a nice potential. The only problem with the French prospects is that there is few guards really promising (Nolan Traore)

Sorry but without Wemby hogging the spotlight, those French boys wouldn't even be on the radar. It's laughable to think they're riding on his coattails. If I were the Spurs, I'd steer clear of those two and focus on some real talent instead of buying into the hype. There's a sea of talented guards out there, and these French guys aren't even a drop in the bucket compared to what's available. just saying facts PERIOD
