Great balanced discussion guys! People say Irelands world cup was a failure, I wholeheartedly disagree and not just because I'm Irish! Was u gutted? Yes absolutely, I was devastated however when you put it in perspective look at our group, supposed "group of death" with South Africa and France and let's not forget we beat the springboks who then went in to win the tournament and we also lost to the All Blacks marginally by 4 points! In the context of Ireland being a small island with a tiny player pool comparing with the bigger nations not to mention that rugby is our 4th sport not our national sport like with NZ + SA and 95% of our players are homegrown....That's impressive in my book! I am proud of our boys and what they have achieved in the world stage! Saying that NZ and SA are of a world class pedigree which is why they have proven themselves to be great champions and I sincerely hope that we Irish can join them at that upper echelon and etch our nations name on the Webb Ellis!

France and Ireland should not adapt their gameplan because of their unlucky RWC result. They are the 2 most interesting Rugby nations since 4 years. I feel Ireland had become less reliant on Sexton as a playmaker as every player knew the system and JS didn't have to direct everyone, but as a motivator and driving force he will be greatly missed, thats why POM is temporarily the Captain, he is dogged and determined, players will follow his will to win.

Its a coinflip. France are missing Jelonch, flament and the big 2 of DuPont and Ntamack but have a good young squad and home advantage. I love them Puma runners (shoes). I think Scotland are the most settled team to be honest, im Irish but i think they have the same team as the WC were US and France are missing but player or to like johnny and France with Dupont.
