I was abused by my ex husband for 7 years . he tried to kill me several times . he put a knife to my throat . I had several black eyes , bruised tailbone, bruised ribs, 6 miscarriages. tried to kill myself 2 times but daughter walked in on me while I sliced my wrist. I have been a Christian since I was 12 . I thought God left me during this time but he was there and he was always there. I left my ex and have been happy ever since. I have a 12 year old daughter and got a good job. thank you Jesus

I'm not a woman, but I've done alot of these things. I was bulled my whole life and my freshman year of high school i didnt care about school the only reason why i went was for football. Then a week before my 16th birthday my mom and dad finalized their divorce and from there my life literately went down hill. I started to shoplift and got caught at Walmart on Superbowl Sunday 2009 I got lucky, because i only had to take a forgiveness class that made me not shoplift anymore. After that happened I slowly started to develop Depression and Suicidal thoughts. By the time i was 17 I knew about God I knew about Jesus and how he died for me, but I didnt know Him so I didn't know about immoral sexual acts so I lost my virginity the summer between my Junior and Senior years. My Senior year of high school Depression was up and down and I started pushing my mom(shes like my best friend now) and my siblings away I hated my dad and I had a girlfriend that to me didnt care about me anymore. I didnt care about life anymore so I listened to the thoughts about suicide and everyday it got worse and I didnt want to play football anymore and I lost scholarships for different colleges and universities, and when I graduated high school I was happy but I still didnt care. Between graduation to my 19th birthday my girlfriend at the time didn't love me anymore my life was getting worse I didnt have a job, I didnt know what I was going in my life and the family that still loved me didnt see me because I didnt want to socialize and I didnt care. So on March 10, 2012 I sat up on my ex girlfriend's bed while she was in the shower and I took an iPod cord and I wrapped it around my neck and squeezed and 2 minutes in I heard "Do not do this child." I ignored it and it felt like 4 minutes but I know it was only 4 seconds I felt my arms loosening and i threw the cord and I felt real true love wrap around me and the wall break down and my stone heart turn to liquid. I heard in my ear "Child why are you doing this? I love you and I have more for you to do you want to know me but you're not letting me in I am your savior your king your friend." From that day on I have only had 4 breakdowns and everytime He lifted me up. I went through a program called Men Alive(broke my ankle while doing it) through a non profit organization called Church Community Services. I have a job now and God called me to Pastoral Evangelism I have my learner permit for driving and I plan to go to college in a year. I'm far from perfect, but I know He knows my name, because I am a child of the one TRUE King!

this song hits home I was sexually abused when I was a young child not by one person but by 3. I hid it I never told a soul until I was 18 i was a cutter I was promiscuous a alcoholic and drug addict . when I was 18 i oded and when I was unconscious I felt God holding me saying he has a purpose for me. 6 years later I had my first child whom is a miracle she was born blue 2 years later I gave birth to my son and left my abusive marriage. I am now clean and sober for 12 years. only through God's amazing love and grace am I alive.

People who don't see their worth must hear this song. - 3 years ago when I first new this is song I knew God wanted to do something with me. This gave me strength and will to live happily. I succeeded in my studies and felt like God spoke to me and told me I have a purpose. I was delighted. But then I stumbled. Again and again and again. Forgot my purpose. Forgot my God. I felt unmotivated to live. Temptations keeps on coming and I keep hearing things from myself that I may not be that special.. Like the human that I am, I forgot His promise. When I was 16, I downed enough anti depressants to kill me. The Lord saw to it I was found and my stomach pumped. I am a 51 year old grandmother now who has had victory in Jesus over depression since the attempted suicide. I so feel for you and others battling depression. My life is living proof THERE IS A GOD.

God is there just reach out and take his hand! He's waits for each of us. I'm 70 and I have suffered 30 years of anxiety thinking I was crazy. Only my deep faith has kept me alive and constantly praying.

I love this song!! And the video is great to go with it!! Growing up I never felt good enough for anything or anyone. I sought attention from guys thinking that that would make feel good enough, pretty enough. And when it didn't, I thought it was God punishing me. I struggled with depression and self harm for several years. I thought God had abandoned me because I would pray for healing but I'd never see it happen instantly. So I thought that since God didn't love me, why should I love Him? So I walked away from Him. I decided that it would be better to turn my back on God and ignore Him than be constantly disappointed by Him. Needless to say that that didn't work. That didn't make me happy, and it most definitely didn't heal me. Once I finally understood that God loves me and has always been there, watching me and guiding me, is when I started to heal. I wish it didn't take what it did for me to realize that though. I had planned on ending it all that day, but before I could let go of the wheel God saved me. As strange as it may be, He gave me a vision of two small children and when that vision left my eyes, I was in my driveway. I knew that it was God saving me. So I made the decision to try to repay Him for doing that. I know that I could never repay God for what He did for me, but that doesn't stop me from living my life for Him. A life that HE saved wasn't going to be wasted if I could help it. I've since learned that it doesn't matter what others think. I may never be good enough, or pretty enough or thin enough, but as long as God loves me... that's all that matters!

I cry every time I watch this video. No I am not a girl but I've been through so much of the same and similar things that these beautiful women have gone through. I have felt so much that I am unworthy and I have been so ashamed of who I have become at times. I have self harmed, I have so many unpure thoughts, and I have made so many mistakes. Sometimes I don't even know if God loves me anymore and sometimes I feel like he will never forgive me. I have made so many mistakes and I really hope God will forgive me. Like one of the girls said in this video when I was younger I felt so close to God. I've been going through a lot of physical arm pains the past year, but anytime I'm getting down I look to the Lord. He has my name in his Book of names, and reserved spot in Heaven just for me. I also find comfort in knowing even if I was the only person in the world, God would have still sent his only son Jesus to die for me. Romans 8:28 "And we know all things work together for good to those who love God..."

I was overprotective by mom mostly after being bullied in 5th grade, 6th grade, until I was 25....All throughout my life I wasn't allowed to have a full Father/Daughter relationship....I used to struggle with Does God love me bc bullies, my mom, and mostly family resented me and said me I'm not good enough....After 2 and 1/2 years, I have really felt God loves me by helping me prepare, work, and make my dreams come true and be happy :) My dad always cared and allowed me to be me and do whatever I wanted as long as it made me happy :) Although he's been gone 10 years and a few months from this Earth, He's always been with me 🕊

Last month I had surgery and heard THIS song in my anesthesia induced sleep. When they woke me by calling my name, I came to and said to the nurse "Hey, you know my name, too!". Lol. Everyone says something silly with anesthesia, that was my experience. But quite seriously I need prayers for healing as the doctors still don't know what is wrong but I'm unable to eat, I choke on literally EVERYTHING, even liquids. It's been 2 months and I now only weigh 90 lbs! Where are my prayer warriors at? Need some back up, y'all, please agree with me and petition His Throne for the healing Jesus already paid for!!!
