@@badsolja1 as a person who watches serie a, Totti had qualities from all positions. Totti could organize his team in the center, play as a classic striker, defend, counter attack, great shot power, great weak foot power and accuracy, dribble while playing as a second striker. As a big fan of Italian football, Totti is perhaps the most complete player ever after Maradona. Totti was never the fastest, but he was fast; he never was a great midfielder like Xavi, but he was great enough; he never had a good header like Luca Toni, but he didnt have to score by header. You see, Roma played around the capabilities of Totti because more than often Roma didnt attract big stars, so Totti had to know how to play at every position, thats why he always was the captain. Totti is a complete player, thats why he is called 'Capitano'. Totti is a classic no. 10 while also being the top scorer for hos club. On how many occasioms do you see a no.10 being the top scorer of his team?

I have been watching serie A since 1996/97 Totti can’t defend first of all He can shield the ball but defend no lol And that’s my issue with your statement , I know Totti achievements and play style But he wasn’t complete as striker Plus as number 10 Totti played in front the striker that was role Spalletti developed for him that made score goal more often I love Totti , he was great player and all time great but I don’t throw false statements when I talk football and I don’t fanboy That being said that’s your opinion about him “ as complete “

Totti has been my idol in football since I was a little kid. Watching him leave broke me down, it was like I was watching a different game after he retired....Roma should be ashamed of themselves for forcing him to retire. He was still scoring strong in his last season.

I don't know if people realize how hard most of those passes are. Besides the fast thinking, perfect timming and precision, in many of them he touches the ball with unconventional touches that should not be pratical. He just makes it look so easy...

Yeah it's a toss of a coin with him, Xavi, Maradona, maybe Riquelme and Messi. There must be a few others as well... Pirlo! But either way, he was just about as good as it gets. I was frigging holding my breath with a few of these passes. I even exclaimed something out loud, involuntarily, at one point. Something like, '@#$% WHAT A PASS!'

Totti, Pirlo, Xavi, Iniesta, they understood the game, it was a delight to see them play. Nowadays, football is all about giving the ball to a fast dummy like mbappe, rashford, dembele, sala. Looks more like sprinting than actually playing football.

Porra cara eu também 🇧🇷. Totti era um verdadeiro craque do futebol , eu fico até com raiva quando os caras ficam falando de jogadores craques hoje em dia , para está geração qualquer jogador é craque 🤨😡. Para mim craques são os caras que sabem realmente o que fazer com a bola , jogadores que antes da bola chegar no pé deles eles já sabem o que fazer que realmente chamam a responsabilidade para eles , que tem uma visão periférica do campo e consegue colocar a bola onde querem sem muito esforço, Totti e era um exemplo disso.

Magari sembro di parte, è sicuramente così. Ma Totti ragazzi..... non scherziamo. Nessuno è stato tanto forte e tanto completo come lui. Non scordatevi che nella Roma ha sempre giocato da solo. Faccio un esempio con i fuoriclasse moderni: Messi o Cristiano Ronaldo in una squadra non sono importanti tanto quanto lo sarebbe un Totti nella stessa squadra. Provo a spiegarmi meglio, Totti con un passaggio ti faceva andare solo davanti alla porta l'attaccante, quindi nella squadra ipotetica non servirebbero i dribbling di Messi ne quelli di Ronaldo. Basterebbe la sua visione totale del calcio. Ed è per questo che il Real Madrid dell'epoca, piena zuppa di super campioni, era pronto a riempirlo d'oro e dargli la fascia da capitano per portarlo lì. Totti oltre ad essere un genio del calcio per quello che faceva con i piedi e con la testa, era fuori dal campo un professionista ESEMPLARE. Altro esempio con uno dei più forti di sempre: Ronaldo il Fenomeno. Era un fenomeno appunto, ma non è mai stato un professionista fuori dal campo (festini, birra, ecc). Stesso discorso vale per Maradona. Con questo non voglio per forza dire che Totti sia il migliore di sempre perché il calcio è bello, come il mondo, perché è vario. Ma guardando le statistiche, la squadra con cui ha giocato (la Roma, non la Juventus, il Milan, il Barcellona, il Real Madrid..), la durata della sua carriera sempre ad un livello top, il comportamento da professionista fuori dal campo, gli infiniti gol fatti di destro, di sinistro, al volo, di pallonetto, di cucchiaio, di esterno, di punizione (...), tenendo conto della sua visione di gioco e dei suoi infiniti assist fatti in ogni modo, e calcolando che ha giocato nel periodo d'oro della Serie A con le migliori difese del mondo e le migliori squadre del mondo dell'epoca (come il Milan o la Juventus, ma anche l'Inter, la Fiorentina, il Parma e la Lazio), e per ultima cosa ma non per importanza ha combattuto e lottato per la maglia della sua città natale per tutta la sua carriera (cosa dovrebbe essere la base del Calcio con la C maiuscola) beh... mi viene da pensare che Totti sia stato il calciatore più forte della storia del calcio. E nessuno mi farà cambiare idea.

Totti teammates were: Mateo Brighi, Tonetto, Cassetti, Taddei i bet that you even haven't heard of those players... Ofc the fact that they had players such as: Salah,Alisson, remains but Roma immediately sold them.. Totti had only 1 time good teammates, it was a great team: Batistuta, Cafu, Montella, Samuel, Cassano... And yes Roma defeated Barcelona but they never win anything

@@kain1144 Roma was shit only this season.Im a Milan fan but i really respect Italian teams and also my mother is a Roma fan 😉😉😉.Roma isn't an avarage team in my opinion.They were really close defeating Liverpool which could of get them to the CL final.Roma have always put a fight for the Scudetto but they were just unlucky.They haven't won anything but apart from this year Roma were pretty good by defeating big teams.Unfortunately Totti's retirement had a huge influence on Roma.It will be even worse in the next season because you also lost De Rosi 😞
