For 26 years, Butz and Lyndah Bartolome have been involved in the local growth and expansion of companies like Mang Inasal, Julies Bakeshop, Bayad Center, Lots a Pizza, Fiorgelato, Chicken Deli, Goto King, Peanut World, Generika and about 320 more companies.
Their company, GMB Franchise Developers, is aggressively assisting companies put their stake in the global market like Potato Corner, Julies Bakeshop, Acqua Suisse Perfume Bar, Famous Waffle Sandwich, Fiorgelato and has done international expansion of Figaro Coffee Company and Marta’s Cake.
Armando "Butz" Bartolome, is known as the Franchise Guru amongst his clients and colleagues. He is one of the Founders of the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc (AFFI), and he is one of the "angel-preneurs" of GoNegoyso (www.gonegosyo.net). His wife, Lyndah Bartolome, Managing Director of the company, is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) since 2007. This designation is from the International Franchise Association in Washington, DC, USA.
They first assisted Potato Corner in 1997 when the Board of Directors wanted to expand through franchising. The groundwork and foundation was established thus Potato Corner grew to hundreds of outlets.
They have also published 6 books on franchising. One of their books, entitled "Is Franchising For You?". was recently awarded as Book Of the Year 2012 (Professions Category) by the National Book Development Board and the Manila Critics Circle. They were also granted an E 11 visa, in recognition for his expertise in franchising. The highest form granted by the US Immigration only for celebrities, Nobel prize winners and experts in specialized field.
