He may/may not love her like he loved his wife and kids, but he 100% cares about her. She stood by him, and he in return did his best to protect her. He may not be a Steve Rogers or a Matt Murdock, but he still has a heart. Definitely treated Karen somewhat better then Matt ever did. Season 2 will be out this month, I really hope we see more scenes with them together this time. Didn’t quite get my share of them in season 1. Episode 10 just says it all. Frank got shot in the ear, back, broke his arm etc... but still refused to let Lewis get away with both a bomb and Karen. The elevator scene had me screaming, never needed to see a kiss, it was all in their eyes.
