I saw Mr. Klausz hand cut dovetails in some narrow pine boards once. He was talking to the crowd and just cutting and chiseling away. About 30 seconds later he shows a perfectly cut dovetail corner. I was amazed.

I bought an old plane from craigslist and used it to square up some boards to laminate together into a tabletop. Planing down and getting that beautiful sound and just the right resistance against your push is an almost religious experience. Amazing. Table turned out nice too. :P

What talent. I wish I had known you when you had your cabinet shop. I will have to settle for your videos My grandfather was cabinet maker but passed away just before I was born. I remember going down to his shop in the basement where we lived and playing with his tools. God knows how many tools I lost while playing with them. The ones I have I cherish. The playing there led to a life as a master mechanic working on cars.
