@@4tesq95 I mean, those kinds of drum beats have been around a loooong time. It's essentially swing; it may as well be a Buddy Rich tribute. Obviously all the zappy lead lines over the top do evoke a certain flavour of two-step, but acid bass is a thing and predates dub step also. Mind you the commercial exploitation of the style was a dark time, but it comes to all genres people like in one way or another and in any case these things always pass :)

@@Nuuk_Nuke_Nook Funny how they came out with Alyx, years after not having any info or interest in making anything half life, they make it a gimmick game that will cost at the very least $100-200 for software just to play one game. Even though before pretty much anyone with a laptop could play Half life 1 and 2. They always said if they came out with anything half life it would be on new gen tech but they chose VR.

They got a lot of the original team together to remaster the game it must have been hell tracking them all down but it was well worth it.

Here's my tip. Infantry stands no chance against an armored vehicle, so whenever you play a game, always try to get tanks as soon as possible, it will make your life easier. Engineers are insanely OP in the remaster, as you no longer have to damage a building before you can capture it.

I was 12 when I first played RA2, now I'm 32 and, while I'm not playing at all, I still spend 5h a week on C&C related things, be it nostalgia or videos like these. The whole C&C thing was an insanely good idea, I'd swap universes in a beat.

Both are remastered lol. You easily tell the newer ones sound a lot better than their 90s counterpart. Probably has original studio quality recording compared whatever bit crushed music they had in original to make it work with PC speakers and CD space of their time.
