As an Arsenal fan (and hater of Chelsea) I have to honestly say that Frank Lampard is a class act both on and off the pitch. He's a rare breed of player / manager who can talk so eloquently and passionately about his experiences and I could listen to him talk for ages. Frank your mum would be so very proud of you! ♥

His first season was one of my favourites following Chelsea. Emotions hit different. Legend.

I could listen to Frank talk for hours. Such an intelligent, humble and likeable guy. As for Gary, he's conducting some of the best interviews I've ever seen. Perfect blend of humour, general chat and hard hitting questions.

The overlap is the best thing sky has ever come up with.

My brother and I are United fans but have huge respect for Frank. Incidentally, I have a funny story to tell.. My brother used to work at Heathrow Airport and Frank Lampard came through with the Chelsea team and my brother got chatting to Frank, after chatting with Frank for a short while my brother rang me and said "chat to Frank Lampard". All of a sudden there I was chatting to him and the conversation must have lasted only about 15-20 seconds but I'll never forget it. He's such a nice guy with so much humility; he was obviously busy but was still kind enough to have a quick conversation with me. Top man.

As a Chelsea fan who idolised Lamps growing up, it is really nice to see him open up about his time at Chelsea. There was such a buzz during his first season managing the club; seeing the likes of Mount, James and Tammy (who’d all been playing championship football the season prior) do so well brought a different excitement to a new signing at the time. Frank deserves some credit for the CL. Haters will say otherwise, but the realists know it’s true. The signings he helped make were absolutely phenomenal, one of the best recruitment periods I’ve seen for a while at Chelsea. This alongside the energy of the chelsea youth really made us look like a force when things clicked. He got top 4 and an FA Cup final with a transfer ban and without Eden hazard who’d carried us for years. (People really seem to downplay the magnitude of losing him just because he’s not done well at Madrid). He was also really unlucky in the super cup final (first game) losing on pens against CL champions Liverpool. He built some strong foundations that will help the club for years to come. It just wasn’t meant to be. Maybe one he’ll come back, who knows. There’s no shame in getting sacked, especially at Chelsea! 😂 Best of luck to him - absolute legend.

As a Liverpool fan, I have nothing but admiration for Frank. Scoring 211 goals as a midfielder is absolutely outrageous.

The champions league was a club effort. Frank being part of the club, he deserves a portion of the credit. Werner stretched the defence, Mount provides the pass and Havertz finishes the goal. All players that probably wouldn't be playing at the club if it wasn't for Frank.

His time as a manager at Chelsea was brilliant as a fan. Full of emotion for every second of the game. What a man

When Frank talks about his late mother and his eyes get teary, it breaks your heart. You will never be able to get over the death of your loved ones, even your pets.

Frank is a legend! One of the all time premier league greats.

You do these interviews so well Gary, never talking over your guests and Frank is a legend - what an honest, really open, very likeable guy. I would love Frank back at City, working alongside Pep for the next two seasons and then taking the hot seat when he moves on. Frank was / is a good manager and with time will become a world class manager.

Quality man and human being first off. Lampard is a class act off and on the pitch and as a fan of another club it is IMPOSSIBLE to not appreciate the way he approached the game as a player and as a manager. Hopefully he’ll get another appointment and get to prove more of what he can do on the touch line.

Speaking as a Derby fan, Frank was absolutely immense from day one. Great football, fantastic bloke and built a great relationship with the fans. Devastated with me when he left. I said it may be too early for him and wish he'd stayed for another year or two with us. Wishing him all the best

Ik Lampard gets alot of credit for bringing through Mason Mount, but his biggest gift to Chelsea was trusting in Reece James. No other manager ITW would have come in to a club and replaced the captain with a 19 year old kid. Now James is one of the best RB/RWb in the world!!

As a United fan I always had big admiration for Lampard. He was a great player for Chelsea & he just seems like a really good guy. I’m glad he hot the chance to manage Chelsea & to be fair he did a decent job.

It you told me 10yrs ago that I would be tuning in every week to a program hosted by Gary Neville. Where he talks for an hour to Roy Keane and Frank Lampard and I as Liverpool fan would tune in the moment it comes out, I'd think you are barking mad. Loving this series, even better than Carra's podcast.

And now listening to their interviews and their ideas on different things is just an amazing feeling. Hats off to Sky and Gary for making such programmes that would just leave a smile on your face. I’d like to say a big thanks to Lampard, he turned Chelsea around, we were slowly sliding due to shit transfers and an aging squad until he came in and brought in loads of very good young players like Reece James and Mason Mount from the academy and others the next season who proved inspired signings like Havertz and Werner, he got us top 4 when that’s where we were the year before but he had stayed at the same position with a transfer ban and losing the player that carried Sarris team on his back all season, there’s no way we would have won the Champions League and been as good as we are now without Franks influence

Thank for everything Frank. Forever our Legend.

When frank was sacked, the heartbreak was mutual. Chelsea fans love Lampard no matter what but understood the reality that Frank was not ready to take Chelsea to the next level.

Never heard any player manager or supporter say a bad word about frank lampard always come across as down to earth genuine humble man + I read a few times always signs lots autographs for fans n has photos taken with them

Frank Lampard went from management difficulty level of 5 out of 10 to 10 out of 10 straight away. He needed a lot of time and experience under his own belt to move up to such a level and I felt that he let his passion dictate his decision making rather than being calculative and controlled.

Being a Liverpool supporter, I hate the fact that I love Gary Neville doing these interviews. Well done Gary, please st Stevie G on.

this was an incredible interview. I postponed watching for a long while just because of disliking seeing Gary talk to "the enemy" but this was incredibly honest. It should've got way more hype than I personally felt. For people who like Frank Lampard this is an absolute gem. Gary, very very proud of you for this one.

It's a privilege to see these kind of interviews because, lately i've been making the effort to speak more English, and also I'm studying to become an English translator through British accent. On the other hand, Lampard, apart from being an ex-footballer, played with extraordinary football players at Chelsea such as Terry or even Ballack. As a football manager, he has huge future, so being Chelsea's manager was just the beginning, if he keeps managing football teams, and even the biggest ones, we will likely be talking about England's next manager in the future. So good luck, Frank.

If you had to choose a person to represent the personification of the Premier League it would be Lampard. He really is top class player, just brilliant. Never flashy just super professional. He got angry a couple of times but nobody going to hold that against him, he has a good nature to him.
