I’m a Shakur fan but I agree with Frank here. Frank is a top 10 ranked lightweight. We gotta stop the narrative that only 1s & 2s deserve title shots. He still ducked Shakur over 250k. Majority of the pay per view buys going to tank im sure. Frank can’t sell on his own at all. He legit could’ve beat Shakur, then fought Tank immediately after with this same exact date. But he didn’t believe in himself enough to do that.

Frank doesn’t sound confident about fighting Shakur later or getting more belts if he wins. He already knows just like everybody else he gets knocked out. He probably will be dropped more than once throughout the fight. I see a knockdown maybe knockout early in 4 rounds. I don’t see it going past 9. Frank defense isn’t good and he’s too slow.

Not at all he fighting Frank to teach Shakur a lesson which is don’t bite the hand that feeds you. If you remember in 2020, tank always said Shakur is a good fighter that he’s the next and upcoming champion. Frank was just tank sparring partner, fast forward (maybe 2022) tank said that he’s possibly about to retire and he’s going to pass the torch to Shakur or Devin but they started talking stuff then he said he’s going to give a fighter who is good but don’t talk too much a chance that’s when he fought Cruz and hector garcia. He beats Ryan and he’s cool with Ryan but Shakur suppose to be cool with tank but talking about him then tank just completely ignored him. Check this out Keyshawn Davis and Frank Martin are true rivals but since shakur turn down 25% ($8 million) from Devin the interviewer asked Martin would he turn down that fight and he said no because Devin had all the belts he would have fought for that they shakur tried to offer 25% but it was $2 million since Shakur was talking about everyone’s a bitch and how will be everyone. Tank decided to often Frank a chance at fighting him to teach Shakur a lesson it’s no different than our everyday lives. You can’t go to work being a sh!tty person and expect people to show you love and give you promotions they would rather keep you where you at and promote the guy that you trained

Shakur is not an elite fighter, he ran from De Los Santos the whole fight and never engaged him. He lied about being ill and having a hurt hand and absolutely refused to rematch him to redeem his self. Shakur's defensive style of pulling away and jumping back (not slipping) won't protect him well on the inside with a fast handed power puncher.

That fight would go the distance 100% it’d be not too too different from the Jamaine Ortiz fight. Ortiz knew Teo had pop so he went the distance all night, shakur doesn’t like to be in the pocket with anyone that can throw bombs and the Ortiz fight showed that Teo struggles with cutting the distance off with certain fighters. Shakur would just be running circles around Teo with Teo having no real answer for that.

Shakur is best lightweight in the division but I get Frank to a degree. Both fights would be an ass whooping why wouldn't he get paid a little bit more. Or get a little bit more notoriety for losing to tank. I think Shakur understands people don't want to just lose to him. But there's a way you go about negotiating when you're not that guy yet. Atleast u telling the truth I like haney and I never understood why people said he was a runner when he stepped to linares,kam,loma,regis,and even ryan knowing he was a power puncher and he started fighting like that to appease fans he could easily jab and back track all night but he wanted to entertain and he showed fighting ryan he isn't staying down or quitting even when out powered and opponent cheating
