11 жыл бұрынFrank Morgan (December 23, 1933 - December 14, 2007) was extremely underrated because of his limited exposure resulting from years spent in obscurity at San Quintin prison for using drugs. At San Quintin, he played in a prison band with Art Pepper, another jazz great.

1989 Nov, last time i saw big brother at our father's funeral where he played his heart out through a stream of tears and regret. Together Again. .At rest with his heavenly Father. ☮️

I met and hung with Frank a few times at the club, after his stint. He said "I wouldn't recommend it" I thought I better listen to that and his horn for a while.
