I was telling the same to people. Kabayel and Smakici were in a clinch. Kabayel expected the ref to seperate them. Somehow Smakici slipped out of it, caught Kabayel off guard and unloaded almost a dozen of clean punches on Kabayel. But Kabayel didn't go down. The main reason Smakici even got Kabayel was because of that clinch incidence, before that Kabayel was winning the rounds earlier. And even after that onslaught of Smakici, Kabayel came out dominating him again. Kabayel has a serious chin.

Maybe because of the amateur schedule and preparations ahead of the Olympics?

Anderson is already top 10 ranked without beating anybody, I think he needs to actually fight another top 10. as for Itauma..he can be the future of HW boxing, about Jared I have my doubts because he has developed a lot of bad habits along the way of padding his record.

Good fight this actually. I Gove a slight edge to Sanchez. The Makhmudov win was a great win but the big man is basically a slow caveman and easy to hit. All Makhmudov has is formidable strength and punching power but no skills. Sanchez is a very different proposition.

The reason why Kabayel wouldn't fight regulary was because he couldn't fill the arena. The reason being before Kabayel boxing was dying in Germany and there was not much interest. I hope whoever loses he fight the Saudis do what they did with Wilder too and still invite the "loser" of the fight to new events too. No one deserves to be discredited after losing 1 or 2 fights. This is why Parker came back stronger than ever after a number of defeats prior.

Wilder had been stat padding against fighters not even in the top 50 for longest of their career. Kabayel beat the European champion Smakici. Chisora who was/is a top 10 fighter. And Makhmudov who was ranked 4th by WBC. There are fighters getting a title shot for far less. Just because they were not considered as dangerous by the promoters of the title holders. Only AJ really went with the top opponents. And I respect that about him.

Just finished watching the fight, unsurprisingly, Pulev by clear decision. I thought it was a surprisingly good fight, for a Pulev-fight! I think he looked surprisingly sharp, having had a long career and being 42. I think he smashes Charr to pieces!😂

This is a close fight and could go either way. I’m not a boxing journalist, just a guy who uploads their views on boxing and covers various news from the heavyweight division. A journalist should never give their personal view, so I can’t be one in the context that this boxing channel exists and gives views. Some times I’m right, sometimes I’m wrong. I like Kabayel and have been one of the few on KZfaq to actively follow his career. I don’t really care who wins between him and Sanchez, just hopefully we get a good fight and both remain active - which seems more likely with Saudi money in play. Really?...what has either fighter actually done to suggest that they're anywhere near Joshua's level. The "nobodies" that Joshua has fought recently would rate as Sanchez's best wins. Kabayel beat a sulking Chisora, and a massively hyped Makka, who himself didn't have a scalp on his resumé anywhere near world level. Maybe it'll turn out that both fighters are what you believe them to be. But as of right now, there is no evidence to back up your bold claims that they are Usyk's heir apparents, and both fighters would destroy Joshua.

@@rockybalboap7763 Errr....many great champions in the past have taken a few fights against lower opposition after they'd suffered a loss. Joshua had 2 on the bounce against Usyk, and 3 in 4 when you include the upset loss to Ruiz. Joshua then fought Wallin....who many considered to be a legitimate threat, but Joshua destroyed him easily. Joshua then fought Ngannou, who's place at world level was supported by his performance against the self-styled GOAT, Fury. Again Joshua destroyed Ngannou, even though many pundits were suggesting Ngannou would win with a devastating KO. I would be quite happy for Joshua to fight the winner of Sanchez/Kabayel, as he continues rebuilding, and would consider him a heavy favourite against either fighter. As I've already said, Sanchez has beaten nobody, and Kabyel edged a victory against Chisora, who had nobody in his corner that night after a bust-up with his trainer, and was having a massive sulk (Chisora would've destroyed Kabayel any other night), The only trouble is, that depending on how the heavyweight scene pans out over the next 3 months, the likes of Samchez and Kabayel may not be worth the tine for Joshua, as he will more than likely have bigger fish to fry. Yeah, if the winner of Kabayel/Sanchez then goes on to defeat a Parker, a Zhang, a Wilder or a Dubois, then maybe they'll be worthy of a payday against Joshua. But both men have much to do to prove they are worthy of a seat at the top table.
