Video starts about 25 seconds in! Enjoy! I am guessing this was from around 2006 or 2007.

Frank Sinatra, Jr. never got the attention his singing deserved because his father was the greatest legend ever, However Junior was spectacular as well. Its ashamed he passed on so early in life. RIP Frank Sinatra, Jr. you were great!

After listening to Frank Sinatra Jr. when he was very young and in his early 20's, then lustening to him at his peak, his voice matured and he got really good and I think he was good enough to being comparable his father. Such a tragedy that he died relatively young.

This was very underrated. I feel bad for this guy. I saw him live at the Blue Note in The Village in New York around 2006 and he was amazing. The problem is that everybody compares him to the big Frank and of course nobody can come even close. But as a trained musician, and a competent singer, he was really good at what he was doing. RIP Frank Jr.

I have always liked Frank, Jr.'s voice! His looks are exactly like Frank, Sr. I love the songs he sings. Good choices. I am sorry he is no longer with us. I think he could have been a much bigger "star", but with his father being around longer than him, he always seem to come into a close second. But, in my book he was the tops and just as great as his father in the singing department. Thanks for the music! SYLVIA!

@@cynthiarosiek4098 He had other skills. He was a multi-instrumentalist, a phenomenal arranger of music, and even wrote a lot of his own standards. Writing for the Songbook is extremely difficult. I always thought Frank Jr was quietly legendary. He helped Seth MacFarlane with his singing, and Seth returned the favor by introducing him to a wider audience.

WOW-what is so poignant is that this could also be one of the last performance by pianist Bill Miller-"Suntan Charlie" as FS called Bill-he was 91 when he suffered a heart attack while on tour with FSJr while on this Canadian tour and later died-Bill Miller of course was FS' pianist for almost 40 years. He plays piano on "One For My Baby" opening the Sinatra Sings Sinatra portion.

A 1-derful singer, excellent entertainer, pianist and bandleader, Frank Jr was a fan of big bands and advocate for orchestra musicians, something he frequently highlights in this marvelous concert. He never got the credit he deserved, carrying such a burden, that last name, being the son of a legend. Nevertheless, as you can acknolewdge enjoying this video he was deservedly appreciated as a great artist in his own right.

He had a fair voice to work with, though a bit nasal at times. Problem was, he just wasn't a very good singer. He sang off key ( mostly flat but also sharp ) and would hit a right note usually on just the last word of a line....not a good singing attribute. He also never opened his voice up and showed a full voice or powerful voice....even when punctuating a powerful lyric. Finally, he lacked charisma and energy and just kind of said the lyrics with little personality, attitude, emotional dynamics etc., etc. Had a slightly higher pitched voice than Frank Sr., but not really important. Anyhow, RIP to you sir. You died too young.
