As far as I know this song was recorded in mono, this one sounds like fake stereo, still sounds pretty good, apart from when Frank's voice bounces right left, fake stereo was widely used in the 70s by naff record labels that wanted to enhance mono recordings, they sounded awful. This track didn't sound round too bad.

Agree, it's been enhanced from mono (of which it was originally recorded) to fake stereo. A practice used in the late 60s and 70s to attempt to make mono recordings sound like stereo, they were rubbish. This track is just about OK, Frank's Voice bounces a little right left, as does the solo trombone later in the track. Ye I agree, something wrong!
