Frank moving around and jabbing Mr. T's head off until the director Sylvester Stallone is yelling commands from the ringside for me to take a dive . As Jake Lamotta said in Raging Bull I don't go down for nobody. In real life I never went down. But for the movies it's okay. lol

Actually Frank is in Rocky 3. He's the singer in the montage when Rocky and Clubber are both training for their first fight againts each other. While Rocky is training with all the glitz and glamor around him you actually see Frank singing in in the background.

@@besteverepicmillennial5927 Absolutely. It is one of the only movies that has so much to it...It's a drama, it's a love story, it's a comedy, it's action, it's a thriller, it's suspenseful (at times), and the quality of acting is unmatched.

Honestly, if I were Sly, I would make a film with more Frank participation! I would still be entitled to some well-studied jokes, like: "He's just a musician ..." (and suddenly Frank was pulling an M-16!)

Frank played a "bum from the dark" in Rocky I and a harmony quartet singer in the first few minutes of Rocky II. Guess that character hit the gym and became a heavyweight contender. LOL.

I love seeing this; but im glad Sylvester went to more realistic boxing in Rocky 6. I keep stopping myself from saying it was the best in the whole franchise.

@nikolaydimov In ROCKY III there is a montage of Clubber Lang (Mr. T) winning a series of fights in hopes to earn the right to fight Rocky Balboa. Frank Stallone here plays one of Mr. T's opponents. The scene was shot without sound since it only last a few seconds and spliced together with other fight scenes. Frank Stallone also continues in his continuing role as a singer.

Many seem to think, "I'm watching Rocky now and I expect real fights". This is a movie !! Alone the World Cup fight in part one and two would have been stopped after a short time. No boxer will be counted 2-3 times, the referee would take part twice ... after that it is over

@@DeutschesReichanno Yeah, but this is boxing, and Clubber isn't using the clinch like a boxer he's using it like a wrestler and throwing his opponent, and I do believe that is an actual throw in Muay Thai.

@@grsimpson3957 I just wanted to point out that if someone watches various boxer films (especially Rocky), they shouldn't expect that these fights will also be carried out in real life. Clubber Rocky knocked on the ropes once in the 2nd fight Clubber vs Rocks. In real terms, the fight would end there at the latest because it is completely unsporting.

I agree. In ‘Rocky lll’, Mr. T was fit and looked VERY intimidating 🥺. By the end of ‘The A-Team’ series, Mr. T looked like a friendly, cuddly Teddy Bear.

Frank Stallone is Sylvester Stallone's younger brother; he was in at least a couple of films on his own. In this extra footage from 'Rocky 3', he is probly used for Mr T to practice on, while Sly Stallone is directing from the sides, and can see how things look for when he steps into the ring himself....
