Catching carp is a game of percentages, minor details can make a major difference to your catch rate. This is something Frank knows from his lifetime of experience, fishing some of the most notorious carp waters on planet earth!
In this video, Frank talks us through what he believes is an extraordinary lead edge that will help you get more bites from silty venues.
Tell us what you think of this rig adaptation in the comments. Will you be trying this the next time you head out I search of Carp?

When i was 15 & started carp fishing i used to fish a silty water with the thick black silt everywhere. Now this was 20 odd years ago, i was using the richworth inlines with the infused anti tangle tubing amnesia hookling knotless knotted to a size 6 continental hookling & 2x 18mm boilies, basically i was using everything i shouldn't be using BUT I cause shed loads ! So I never worry about silt after that .

Like Frank, I've used these leads for many years, one of Armaleds best sellers if anyone remembers the company. Hard to get hold of now but worth it especially the 2 - 3 oz versions for short to medium range work👍👍👍

I've been looking at ways to fish lead clips in silt as I trust them a lot more than Helis, just bought some 2oz versions, reckon they'll do the trick?
