Was Frank not one of the greatest composers of the 20th century? And a great musician as well. Paganini of modern times. Rest in Peace, Frank Zappa you are not forgotten.

He was amazing, and enlightened. I wish I had been sophisticated enough to appreciate him while he was alive, but that's my flaw of youth. He'll forever live out the rest of my life as one of the greatest ever.

One of the greatest times of my life we had 11 rehearsals to put this all together sadly we didn't get a chance to do more then 2 shows with this band ... The people of Germany are great I hope to one day go play there again.

Wtf? When did Tom ever play violin before? My mind is a little blown. And who ever knew Ike was such an accomplished guitarist? In the many times seeing him with Frank he may have taken a solo or two, blues based I believe but he can really channel the spirit of frank. More so than Dweezil. That’s not a knock on anyone btw.

This band was the orphan unwanted child ….. It was put together in 11 rehearsals it’s raw and has heart …. No one became millionaires over this if anything we broke even ….. I’m sure I can say on behalf of all who attended …it was a wonderfully time glad it was documented and as I would consider myself an outside in ..a dream came true….❤

Great performance by a superb group of Zappa alums! Ike's dynamic singing and banter pumps up the crowd! The Fowler brothers materialize from the 70's to compliment the younger musicians. Who knew Tom played violin?

Ike can shred on guitar, imagine what he's picked up over the years just by osmosis from Frank, Andrian, Stevie, Dweezil etc.... He's got a unique sound, but I can hear glimpses of all the aforementioned.

Frank Zappa has alwayZ been, & alwayZ will be, the "Largest Influence" Musically, Politically, Personally, & Spiritually, as for myself. & that'z only a very few thingZ of the "Many" traightZ of Frankz that I "Love" & "Enjoy" so very much ever since I was first introduced to Him, & the "Mother's of Invention". Frank'Z the "Best", & I sincerely Thank Frank for all the yearZ, & the Eonz of Endorphinez, & Wisdom he has shared with all of us. Also many ThankZ to the "Zappa Family" for carrying on with his "Legacy" so that others may have a chance to be exposed to FrankZ work, if they choose to be. I myself am hoping to get to see FrankZ "Halo Graphic Live Show" where some of the old "MotherZ of Invention", & other former band mates perform live with FrankZ "Hologram". One of the many things created by Ahmet Zappa(one of FrankZ sons). All ThumbZ👍 Up❕ To you Frank Zappa, wherever you are..... Mr. Boxx.

I was confused also I guess its an Italian thing it never hurts to be in the same room with any of the drummers or musicians that played in Franks band... I was 35 years old when I did this show I wanted to get with Franks band since I was 11 Years old ( I was 11-12 in 1971... I didn't think he would hire a little kid) guess if you persevere and life puts you in the right place... Now lets find where those master tapes are so we could get a better mix and also the rest of this over two hour show.... :-)

@@TheCaveStudioFilms The song ''take your clothes off had an early instrumental recording but Frank never released the original lyrics which were''I'm so happy I could cry.'' Frank's father caught Frank with his high school sweetheart who lived across the road and he promptly told the girls father...They packed up overnight and were gone... That is the Zappa we see....the brooding non comforming....but I have seen photos of his middle high years and he was the go to boy student the teachers reached for and if you scan pauline butcherbirds youtube account you willl see a handsome Frank standing in front of an art award....This is his love for doowop...it was a special time that was torn from his psyche...That's why he never released that version of the song...He buried it in his lifetime....He probably met back up with the girl but time had destroyed what was love.
