When he died i bought everything on cd i didn’t have on vinyl and boy was i was i so happy when i cried and cried and cried... oh yea, i am still so sad that he was only 53 years old when he died. I am 67 now and shit what he would have accomplished musically if he was not taken out so early??? Yea, it’s not fair for me, some smuck to to get to 67 and not Frank...

Absolutely. IMO, where Frank was unequaled, was in his command of the low end of the guitar's range. Lots guitarists could, to paraphrase Mark Knoplfer, make a guitar cry or sing. Frank could do that. He could also make it growl, snarl and roar.

@@DaveCroy Miss Purim duetted with George Duke on this one - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fMqogaxqvZzFZpc.html I don't know if she and Frank were ever in the same room together though. She may have made her contribution on an entirely separate overdub session.

This is an outstanding live performance! What a collection of musicians. BTW, the first guitar solo is not Zappa, it's Tony Duran. Zappa plays the ending solo, and absolutely kills it. He comes in at about 7:11. Frank's solo proper starts at about 7:53.
